Head further south again and visit the Ernest Hemmingway Memorial in Sun Valley (Edgar Rice Burroughs also spent time in Idaho) or visit the Mackay Rodeo. Hangout fishing on one of the many lakes, play golf, go camping or follow some more of Lewis and Clarke’s Trail.
Keep going and visit Bear Lake State Park and relax at Bear Lake Hot Springs or visit the Lava Hot Springs Area. See Snake River and visit American Falls Reservoir – at over 55,000 acres this is no small puddle!

Southwestern Idaho is the home to the states capital, Boise. Just the name Boise, Idaho is enough to incite interest. This area again offers a splendid cross-section of fantastic terrain from mountains to deserts and valleys and forests.
