In the south west of Tuscany you have the amazing town of Manciano, which is just one of those places you have to visit.
Built by the Romans many years ago, nothing has changed no brick no nothing has been changed. All houses are exactly the same from when they were built and so are all the roads. The town has a very high medieval feeling to it, a lot of the buildings have a lot of medieval architecture to them and there are a lot of medieval walls which surround the town from when there were wars happening many centuries ago.
The area is also a very important area, as it is home to a special market which supplies everything from clothes to fruits for the area and to the areas of Albegna and Fiora valleys which are very dependant on the market, so you can always join them by picking up some fruit and veg and other foods which you can have later in the day at you private self catering villa.
Other areas surrounding Manciano are Serravalle Pistoiese were we have many relaxing private villas or Pomaia which is a very Buddhist cultured village which is well worth a visit. We also have many great self catering apartments the area is surrounded by many olive tree's and is home to the Orsini castle which holds a strawberry festival 3 times a year not to mention the Thermat Springs which date back from the Roman times and are still in use still to this day.
So if you want a beautiful holiday with everything around you then come on over to Manciano.
