It is marvellous for its landscape. Main colours green and blue. Green because we have a great biosphere here with clear sparkling water in rivers and lakes, blue because there is so less industrie that you can watch the clear blue sky without smoke.
The landscape reaches from wide planes with agriculture to the alps with mountains nearly up to 3.000 metres. Bavaria is well known for bright nature.
Our guests prefer to do sports outdoor, like walking, climbing, trekking, biking, sailing on Lake Constance, Alpsee, Chiemsee. Skiing is exciting at Garmisch Partenkirchen, Worldcup skitrails like Ofterschwang, Oberstdorf, Kleinwalsertal...
You should not miss to visit Zugspitze, Isle Mainau in Lake Constance, the castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, the marvellous barock-style churches Wieskirche and Ottobeuren, cosy scenic villages and small towns like Oberammergau, Lindau....
History goes back to celtics and romans. Local tasty highlights are Weißwürste, Dampfnudeln, Knödel, the famous Bergkäse etc.. Watch it, taste it, like it - love it!
