Whether its a family vacation, reunion, club or church group, women or men's retreat, special birthday celebration, wedding anniversary or honeymoon, our Northwood cabin on beautiful Connor's Lake is a memorable event for all attending.

Whether you are visiting in the Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter, you will find the view breathtaking, with lots of different types of wildlife moving around for viewing... from the call of the loons, the soaring of bald eagles, quick jumping of deer, gentle hopping of rabbits & busy work of squirrels - you can see it all right here. It's a perfect place for the special event you might be planning, or just for a quiet, family getaway, or even a romantic getaway for just the two of you! The cabin is nestled among trees, as though you are inside a tree house, with the lake as your backdrop.

If you are interested in taking some day tours, you might consider visiting Hayward for arts & crafts, quaint shops & antiquing & Winter & Phillips for your shopping.

Our cabin has three levels, with approximately 3600 square feet. It has easy, winding, stair-stepped lake access.

The main level of our warm, inviting cabin has a family room with large screen tv and dvd player, dining room, kitchen, bath, and laundry room. There are two decks on this level facing the lake. Lakeside deck has tube lights, tables/chairs, bar area for those cozy evening sunset viewings. If you like cozy...inviting... this is the spot for you . . . a peaceful, quite, serene escape! Some of the features on the main floor are a beautiful stone fireplace with gas logs (makes it easy for you - no carrying wood), log walls, fully-equipped kitchen, full bath, and a separate laundry room with stackable washer/dryer.

There are two separate sets of stairs to upper level. Upper level consists of a bright and airy, master bedroom with gas fireplace that has an attached loft/sitting area that overlooks the lower family room, as well as the lake. This loft area also has a deck of its own for night "star gazing!" There is a full bath with shower on this level and a claw-foot tub, as well as an additional bedroom with two full-size beds, and an office area.

The walk-out level has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a full-size bed; the other bedroom has a bunk, which is full on the bottom and twin on the upper. There is a full-size bath. A large recreation room with sofa, comfy chairs, bar with 8 stools, big screen tv and dvd player, and game table w/4 chairs makes this an area the ENTIRE group can enjoy. There is also lake view, outdoor access and patio area on this level.

There is a fire pit for fireside chatting/marshmallow cooking in the evenings(we have even provided some wood - good until gone). Provided with rental is a fishing boat(no motor), canoe, and paddle boat. There is a dock, with 2 benches, where you can tie up your personal boat, enjoy those "late evening sunsets" and listen to the loons call - - making for special memories.

RESTAURANTS: There are 3 dining restaurants available within the immediate area - - - The Cabin at Connor's Lake provides fine dining; Flambeau Forest Inn on Connor's Lake (Jake can provide Musky Guide), and Big Bear Lodge, nearby on the Flambeau River (they provide canoe trips).

Grocery Shopping: Phillips or Winter each are 18 miles from our cabin.
