This beautiful, three-level home offers all the beauty and serenity of the Northwoods and comforts of home and righton the water.
The home is only minutes from St. John's Military academy and from the nostalgic town of Delfield for quaint shopping and a array of bistros and dinner restauraunts. Walk up and down the sideway and go the the gourmet
grocery store with a cheese and wine tasting area and visit the Chocolate Factory or sandwich shop for some gelato.
Enjoy the breathtaking sunsets every evening and the very best time on the water during the day you can imagine! Okauchee Lake is known by families and tourists for "Party Island" a must visit place to relax and play. There is a 100 foot volcano if you want to explore the depths of the water and the fishing in unsurpassed for catching bass, northern, walleye, and blue gill right off the deck everyday... any time of the day (really!). There are over 100 species of fish in Okauchee Lake! A fisherman's dream for sure. Even ice fishing is fantastic on Okauchee Lake, but know tell our neighbors some think that it's better on their lake...lol!
For avid bicyclers and bikers. This gorgeous home is located in Morraine Hills one of Wisconsin's most scenic and largest natural reserves. The wildlife is as beautiful as the greenery and no matter what season it is there is always a lot to do and enjoy.
Within ten minutes you can be in the quaint nearby town of Delafield, a perfect place to shop and admire a preserved taste of old Wisconsin.
The people are all friendly and there is even a dance hall a few minutes away for square dancers. Just go to the corner and left about a mile. There is a bakery and deli that's open daily at 5AM and a friendly smile from all the towns people.
Don't worry about owning a boat, there is a place called Tinus Marine in Oconomowoc, nearby that will deliver a pontoon boat right to the shoreline for you and pick it up.
There is a channel off the bay that leads directly to the Oconomowoc River; so you have a lake and a river to explore all wrapped up in this vacation dream house you will want to come back to and bring more friends and family. Don't worry about owning a boat there are boats for rent in the area and• Ideal 'Off Season Temporary Housing' for professionals during school year, house hunting or construction, or other periods of temporary separation from home. Quiet primarily permanent resident neighborhood. Roads cleared. Good Schools. 'Away from it all' atmosphere, yet easy access to work, shopping, theater, restaurants, other lakes and forms of indoor or outdoor entertainment. Less than an hour to Madison or Milwaukee. Freeway access to Chicago within minutes.
The town of Okauchee offers plenty of dining and nightlife. The Golden Mast Restaurant is a must visit. It looks like a turn of the century european Chateau the brunch is elegant as well as the dinner menu and ambience.

Activities
The Okauchee House is nestled right in the heart of Moraine Hills, Wisconsin's largest and most protect forest preserve. Wisconsin has some of the best golf courses in the country and commonly used for the PGA. The is a
polo club within 10 minutes of the house if you enjoy polo.
A famous place to visit is Holy Hill, a beautiful old world monestary with a stone tower you can climb and see for miles around.
Every morning at 5:30 AM get fresh coffee and baked goods at Dotties, the local hub just a couple minutes up the road. And just a walk away is C Who's in the local meeting place to exchange fishing stories.
The Red Circle Inn up the road has Lobster tail and the Picnic basket across the street makes some of the best fresh homemade subs you've ever eaten!
There's a sandy beach only 10 min. away in Pewaukee with shops across the street from the beach and also a beach in Oconomowoc with weekend entertainment.
And antiques too!

$400 refundable security deposit. All final payment due 90 or more before arrival. No refunds on deposits prior to 60 days cancellation. Visa & Mastercard accepted. All reciepts are emailed with confirmation upon processing. If a check is used, dates will be reserved upon clearance of the check recieved and a reciept will be returned by mail or email. Management has the right to change rates on the advertised site at anytime. Monthly rates are available upon request and all holidays will be increase with a surcharge. A $75 cleaning fee is required with all rentals. A damage fee of $45 is manadatory in lieu of a large deposit. Renters must be at least 25 years of age.
