Welcome to Lake Winnebago in the Fox Valley. This home is located in Neenah, WI which is right between Oshkosh and Appleton, WI. Lake Winnebago is the largest, natural inland lake in Wisconsin and is renowned for the abundant fish. The lake is full of activities year round: sailing, boating, jet-ski, fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, annual sturgeon spearing contest (early February each year).  
 
This rental is directly on the shores of Lake Winnebago with lake views from the living room and one of the bedrooms. Large deck facing the lake. There is a large front yard in which you may relax with the firepit or with the swing set and small slide, if you have children. There is also dock access.  
 
This home is listed as a townhome as it is part of a four family unit (the other three units are all occupied by long-term renters, including myself, the owner). Each unit has it's own private entrance and this unit is all first floor (no steps). 
 
Included with the rental is probably nearly everything you could need to make your vacation relaxing. All linens and towels are included. All dishes, cooking utensils and small kitchen appliances (e.g. toaster, coffee pot, blender, microwave, etc).  
 
Modern conveniences included are wireless internet, 62" big screen TV in the living room with VCR/DVD, gas fireplace, cable & DVR. All bedrooms have cable TV.

    • Neenah: Bergstrom-Mahler museum (largest paperweight collection); YMCA (gym); summer Thursday evening live music at the park; whole/organic food store; post office, etc. 
     
    Oshkosh: EAA museum (also home to the annual EAA airshow which brings in over 100,000 people each year); Paine Art Center/Museum, Menominee Park: this park features playgrounds, an interactive zoo, a miniature train, amusement rides, paddleboats, and more!  
     
    Appleton: Fox River Mall; Building for Kids (a huge hit with children of all ages); Timber Rattlers (baseball), PAC (Performing Arts Center). 
     
    Fremont: Wolf River tubing (40 min)  
    High Cliff State Park: beautiful state park with a large observation tower and rock climbing. Also has a lot of trails.  
    Green Bay: (45 min) Beach Bay (inexpensive amusement park); Lambeau Field; Resch Center 
    Chilton: (45 min) Explore the Ledge View cave system

    Special Recession Buster pricing for 2009: Current nightly rate of $160 per night instead of normal $200/night. Four Night Minimum and not valid for Labor Day Weekend. Refundable $200 deposit due at time of signing agreements. Cancellation more than 60 days prior to arrival are charged $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 60 days prior will only be refunded if the unit is re-rented. Credit card payments accepted through PayPal (however, subject to 5% upcharge to off-set fee charged by PayPal). Payments accepted by personal check.
