VonSeda's Island Lake Lodge is a beautiful, rustic hand-crafted full log home vacation rental. VonSeda's is located in Iron County, between Hurley and Mercer Wisconsin, the heart of the "northwoods". This is the perfect cabin getaway on the lake up north.

Whether wanting recreation, or just a tranquil place to relax, there's something for everyone at VonSeda's. The cabin is located on Island Lake, 352 acres. With almost 200 feet of frontage, you'll enjoy Wisconsin lakefront vacation lodging at its best. Fishing (musky, northern pike, walleye, bass, pan fish, and trout), boating, tubing, water-skiing, swimming, ATV-ing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and skiing are at your fingertips.
Pontoon boat rentals are available, as well as guided pontoon boat ride excursions. A pier along with 2 paddleboats and a rowboat are available for our guests to use. There is a public boat launch as well if you would like to bring your own. Pontoon boat & jet ski rentals are available locally.
Miles upon miles of ATV & snowmobile trails are just outside your front door-no trailering necessary. Bring your own machines, or rent some from local businesses. Snowmobile trails open mid December. Iron county, Wi is well known for excellent snowmobiling and welcoming atv enthusiasts. Gather your friends and take that snowmobile vacation in northern Wisconsin and come back and relax in a great log cabin with a fire in the fireplace.
Skiers staying at our Hurley cabin have the choice of going to White Cap Mountain, Indianhead, and Powderhorn ski hills- just a short drive away. There is also the opportunity to take winter sleigh rides with the family.
Wildlife is abundant throughout the various seasons. You’ll enjoy watching the loons, ducks, geese, eagles, and other animals in their natural habitat. You may even be lucky enough to spot a moose!

Three night minimum stay required. $500 security deposit must be secured with a credit card. The weekly rental fee, sales tax and security deposit are due 2 weeks prior to arrival date Firewood is available for sale at an additional cost, Pay for what you use. A $200 down payment and required paperwork is to be returned within 1 week of reservation to guarantee your reserved dates. Check In Time is 4:30 p.m. Check Out Time is 10:00 a.m. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations with more than a 60-day notice will result in a refund of the deposit minus a 10% processing fee. For cancellations with less than a 60-day notice, but the lodge can be rented out during those dates, a refund minus 10% will be given. No refunds will be given with less than 30 day notice if lodge is unable to be rented out for those dates. No refunds on early departures.
