Vacation Rental Description
We have ten 2-bedroom waterfront condos, each beautifully furnished, with unobstructed views of the water. Of these 10 units, 5 are ground level, and 5 are upper level units. The upper units have soaring cathedral ceilings, and perhaps offer a greater sense of privacy, but many guests prefer the convenience offered by the ground level units, particularly if they are bringing a boat. The floor plan is the same in each unit - with differences in decor, theme, and the bed configuration.

The furnishings, linens and towels are plush and the kitchens are fully equipped with cookware, dishware, glasses - of the same quality you'd have in your own home. We provide paper towels, dishwashing soap, dishwasher soap, surface cleansers, hand soap, toilet paper, hair dryers, coffee filters . . . you need only bring personal toiletry items, food and beverage. Each unit has central A/C, a gas fireplace, a 27” color TV with DVD and VHS players. We take great pride in Peshtigo River Rentals. You will not be disappointed.

We have two waterfront patio areas, with picnic tables, charcoal grills, and bon-fire cages - plus some built in waterfront benches - and it makes for a natural gathering area for morning coffee, barbques - sunset cocktails. (Each of the upper units has a George Foreman upright full-size electric grill.)There are electric outlets on the waterside of the buildings - so you can recharge boat equipment. The area is also tastefully landscaped and lit. A laundry facility in the basement runs on $1 load - and we provide complimentary laundry soap.

High Falls Flowage (aka Peshtigo River from beneath the Caldron Falls Dam all the way to Johnson Falls Dam) is a beautiful, highly navigable river system. Right in front of the condos, the river flows east and south, first through a quiet and pretty no-wake zone, and then opening up in the Twin bridge Area to appear quite lake-like. It narrows again, passing under Twin Bridge, and heading on for miles, before approaching the Johnson Falls area.

The Crivitz Recreation Area offers diverse activities - from the simply pleasures of fishing, hiking, biking, boating and golf to the more adventurous white-water rafting, snowmobiling, skiing, ATVing, and more!

    • Fishing off the piers can be great. In the late afternoon, the current is cut to next to nothing (by the hydroelectric dam upstream). You'll catch bluegills and sunnies faster than you can get them off your lines. But that said, some very nice smallmouth bass and pike have been caught here too. Fishing from shoreline on Caldron Falls is always good. On High Falls Flowage, get into the back bays or fish the rugged sections of the river’s “coastline” for excellent bass action - and the occassional musky!
