One of two unique lodgings, Tulip Pedal .."like bike" for active adults, is a cozy 1 bedroom Condo centrally located near the brilliant channel town of La Conner, Washington in the spectacular Skagit Valley, gateway to the San Juans Islands, near saltwater beaches,and with a variety of outdoor activities, art, local and internationally known arists, music, theatre, festivals, fine dining and delightful restaurants, museums, i.e.: Incredible Quilt Museum and Historical Museum with emphasis on the history of the settlement of the valley,logging, the agriculture,, and the famous artists who moved up from Seattle in the 30's and 40's and created their own niche in this valley with surreal light, fog, moisture in the air, setting sun, irrigation ditches, trees, wetlands, layers of landscapes..all contributing to the magical, effervescence and soul of the valley.
From local easy hiking, just 10 minutes from Condo or to Alpine hiking (leave at 8:00 am and drive to Alpine Hiking in the North Cascades), enjoy the beauty and incredible landscape and views of Mount Baker and Mount Baker National Park area (winter skiing) and summer hiking. Return by 6:00 pm and catch some great local brewery beers, excellent food, a geat sunset (hopefully) and get the best nite's sleep ever!
