The Chalet on Acorn Way is a beautiful vacation location with year round access, nestled in the Uintah mountains of Heber City, Utah.
5 Bedrooms spread out over 3 floors and a large Game Room to play in with a Gas Fireplace, Large TV, 3 in 1 Game Table, wii and lots of Board Games for all to play. The 5 bedrooms sleep up to 15 people, including 3 queen beds, 2 sets of bunks and a bunk + trundle. Still need sleeping space, pull out the sofa sleeper in the Game room.
Two wonderful decks, the bottom has a slide that ends on the grass. Enjoy the over 2200 square feet of deck and 3700 square feet of grass for everyone's enjoyment.
Only 25 miles from Park City and Sundance or your favorite restaurant in Provo. Enjoy Midway for all your Swiss Days needs is only 15 minutes away. When we have no snow {mid April-October}, during the Spring and Summertime, you can enjoy many planned summer activities such as Water or jet skiing, hiking, ATVs, mountain biking, & great fishing at any number of the nearby lakes & streams or out our front door.
Enjoy jumping over the mountain to Kamas where there is an indoor swimming hole with a lazy river and slides for all sizes. The Provo River that touts some of the best fly fishing in the world is 20 minutes away. Paradise in the Mountains.
Wonderful mountains to hike around or go bird watching or ride an ATV on the private property in Timberlakes. Great Restaurants in Midway, Park City & Provo are all about 30 minutes away.
In the Winter it is a short drive to many ski resorts including Park City (30 min), Deer Valley (25 min), The Canyons (30 min); Redford's Sundance Resort (25 min), and Soldier Hollow - Home of the 2002 Winter Olympics (15 min) where you have Cross Country & Sledding. If you want to ski @ Brighton, Solitude, Alta or Snowbird you are only an hour away.
With many fine restaurants close by you can eat and then shop at the outlet mall in PC. There are also many spas for your comfort and rejuvenation. If you would like to ice skate, you can do so outside in Midway or inside in Provo at the home of the Olympic Ice Hockey events. Summer enjoy Golfing, Hiking, Horseback riding, Mountain biking, Jet skiing, boating & fishing as well as camping, hunting or riding a 4-wheelers (ATV) from the front door.
In Timberlakes you get Four distinct seasons. In the Winter you can snowmobile right from our front door. Ride in the Uinta Mountains of Utah for some of the best snowmobiling in the world and then come back and enjoy a cozy fire and a good book. Let us know if you want Sleds delivered to the door for your use whilst there and we will arrange that for you during your stay. Spring Time is when new life is born. Watch out for the Moose that likes our grass with a new calf or the deer as the come and eat off the trees. Watch for the birds as they soar around our area. Summer time Enjoy an ATV ride or get on a dirt bike and enjoy the 35 miles of roads in Timberlakes Fall - Oh so many colors. There is nothing finer than sitting on the deck and looking out to see multiple colors on the trees that surround you at the cabin. Enjoy an evening hike in the mountains enjoying the colors of fall.
