My favorites: -Read recent log entries. -With telescope or binoculars, look for whales and fishing boats
-Build a fire. Be careful—it can get hot. -Soak in the clawfoot tub, second bathroom. -Take the trail to the beach. -Visit tidepools at low tide. -Walk or run the old road over Otter Crest, south end at Otter Rock a mile north of Beverly Beach turnoff. -Otter Crest summit, giftshop perched on edge of the cliff. -Vistas on north side of Otter Crest. -Wander beach, end of gravel road about 200 yards north of Schooner's Landing. -Eat at Mo's. The original restaurant is on the bayfront, Newport. -Dinner at Sylvia Beach Hotel, Nye Beach, Newport--need to make reservation (541-265-5428); usually guests are invited to play "the game"--2 truths and a lie. -Oregon Coast Aquarium. -Nearby golf courses include Agate Beach, Salashan and Olalla Valley.

Cottage Rental Rates

Low Season Price : $450
High Season Price : $650 per Week


Week or half-week stays begin 4 p.m. Monday or Friday, end noon Monday or Friday
(On short notice, if available, other days of the week can be considered)

Rates apply to a party of two, if you bring sheets and bath towels and clean
Add $20 each additional adult, $10 each additional child.
Add 10% for local and state taxes and administration

Add $50 if we provide sheets and towels for a party of one or two
Add $20/person over two if we provide sheets and towels
Add $50 if we clean
Add $100 for dog deposit ($80 refundable)

Personal check or money order. No bank cards accepted.

SHORT NOTICE DISCOUNTS
Reservations made within a month of arrival receive a 20% discount.
Reservations made within two weeks of arrival receive a 30% discount.

Send 20% deposit within two weeks of making reservation.
Balance due two weeks before beginning of stay.
Deposit will be refunded if vacancy can be filled.
