Lake Mead Recreational Area, Red Rock National Conservation Area and Valley of Fire State Park are great when you are in the mood for easy access to hiking, biking, boating, fishing, swimming & water skiing. Historic Boulder City, known for being the only city in Nevada with no gaming, is full of quaint antique stores and perfect for enjoying a glass of fine wine @ Milo's Sidewalk Cafe on a lazy afternoon or stroll through the Art in The Park art fair held every first weekend of October and while you are there, you have to visit the magnificent Hoover Dam that bridges the Colorado River and connects the State of Nevada to Arizona.
