OLD COLORADO CITY is the oldest city in the Pikes Peak Region. Established in 1859 and designated the first capitol of the Colorado Territory in 1861, it was annexed to Colorado Springs in 1917 and restored as Colorado Springs' only Historic District in 1977.
Another favorite stop on any tourist's list is magnificent towering sandstone red rock formations at GARDEN OF THE GODS, a 1,364-acre national landmark visible from many points in the city. You will be less than a half a mile from the entrance of Garden of the Gods.
The INDIAN CLIFF DWELLINGS is a rare historical treasure. Preserved under a protective red sandstone overhang, authentic Anasazi cliff dwellings. The actual ruins (c.1100 - 1300 A.D.) provide a compelling setting for the Indian dancers who perform from June through August. You will be about two miles away from the attraction.
Drive the Pikes Peak Highway, hike the Barr Trail, or ride the Pikes Peak Cog Railway to the 14,110 ft. summit for breathtaking view.
Take a tour at Miramont Castle(Historic Victorian museum featuring nine styles of architecture), Cave of the Winds, and Cliff Dwellings Museum. Nearby are the US Air Force Academy, US Olympic Training Center, historic Broadmoor Hotel, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo , and the Flying W Ranch. Within an hour's drive are the Royal Gorge Bridge & Railroad(1,053 feet high, come second to none to the awesome Grand Canyon), the gold mining town of Cripple Creek, Florissant Fossil Beds with its huge petrified redwoods and incredibly detailed fossils of ancient insects and plants.
Kids will be delighted to visit North Pole/Santa's Workshop, a Christmas Themed Family Amusement Park.

The property has three bedrooms, one bathroom, granite counter tops in the kitchen, huge "picture window" with a grand view of Pikes Peak in the living room. We are currently furnishing the property with two queen size beds, a sleeper, Italian Leather Furniture(Living Room), etc.
Complimentary Breakfast Items provided. You will find cereals, oat meal, cereal bars, coffee, tea, cocoa, cookies, snacks, pop corn, chocolate, etc. prepared for you in the kitchen. Toiletries provided: shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, etc.
