This charming, Spanish-style home is located within minutes of La Jolla Shores Beach in a quiet neighborhood known as Barcelona in La Jolla Colony. Overlooking the greenbelt and with luscious tropical landscaping and decor you are truly staying in a "Tropical Paradise."
Recently remodeled, Tropical Paradise, is furnished with designer tropical island decor and graphics throughout. The lower floor features hardware floors, living, dining room and kitchen, as well as indoor laundry and attached 2-car garage. In the living room there is a stereo, 42" Plasma TV, Dish Satellite, DVD/VCR, thoroughly equipped kitchen decorated in tropical/beach style, hi-speed WIFI, phone and voicemail.
In the garage you will find all amenities to enjoy the beach including boogie boards, beach chairs, surf board, beach toys etc..
In the upper level you will find a luxuriously appointed master bedroom suite, and second and third bedrooms appointed in fun surf motifs. All linens and towels are provided along with beach towels for eight persons.
This lovely home also features a beautifully landscaped garden, overlooking the greenbelt, complete with patio table and gas grill.
Relax, enjoy the proximity to everything including the Beach, Scripps Aquarium, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Wild Animal Park, Legoland, Movies, Shopping, and Mexico nearby (don’t forget your passport). Disneyland is a little over an hour away.
Surfing, sailing, kayaking, scuba, and jet-skiing are just around the corner. A beautiful park with trails and pathways for strolling or running is just outside your backyard.
La Jolla, "The Jewel" and long renowned as "the American Riviera" is unique in its European feel and resort town atmosphere. Bask in the Mediterranean climate, stroll village streets lined with shops,
restaurants, and art galleries.
Swim at "The Cove" with marked one-quarter and half mile buoys or at the new heated Olympic size pool just a few blocks away.
The University of California, La Jolla, only two minutes away, also offers day passes to the new RIMAC Sports Center and Canyonview Olympic pool complex.
Other attractions on campus include the world famous La Jolla Playhouse, libraries, concerts, and the Scripps Oceanographic Aquarium. Torry Pines Golf Course lies just to the north of La Jolla on the bluffs overlooking Black's Beach.
La Jolla is only 20 minutes from the San Diego International Airport and city center with its multitude of attractions.
