Beautiful 3 bedroom home on 7 hill-top acres in exclusive area of Mariposa, an historic gold-mining town that dates back to the 1800's. The romantic getaway for two or for the whole family. Ideal home base for day trips into Yosemite National Park (45 min.), Bass Lake (1 hr), Chukchansi Casino (1 hr) and Sierra Meadows Golf Course (45 min.) for hiking, boating, gaming and golfing entertainment. The perfect place to unwind in a peaceful, country setting and to take in the million-dollar views of the Sierras. Property is surrounded by majestic oak, pine and manzanita trees. Home is fully furnished with all amenities, including all linens. Full electric kitchen plus clothes washer/dryer. Air conditioning/heating throughout.
Master bedroom has queen bed, satellite television, full bath and private patio with hot tub, gas BBQ, patio furniture and outdoor fireplace. Second bedroom has two queen beds, color television with DVD/VHS players. Third bedroom has two twin beds.
Spacias Great Room with 18' high ceiling, chandelier, custom knotty-pine panelling and floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace (firewood included). There are 4 recliners and 2 sofas; plenty of room to relax. Entertainment center includes satellite television, DVD/VHS/CD players with library of 350+ movies, plus assortedd games for the wbole family. Property is located in a private country neighborhood 15 minutes from town. Award-winning winery within walking distance.
Downtown Mariposa has many fine restaurants, gift and antique shops, a mining museum and a wine-tasting room featuring local wines. You will find everything you need for your stay: grocery and health food stores, a pharmacy, and hardware/auto supply stores. There is live entertainment in town, every Friday evening during the months of June-September. Other annual events include a County Fair, Rodeo, Civil War Reenacment, Covered Wagon Trail ride and many other special events for the entire family to enjoy. Spring/Summer Rate (May-Sept): $200 per night, two night minimum. Weekly rate: $1,200 This rate also applies to National Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Labor Day, Memorial and Independence Day
Winter rate (Oct-Mar) is $175 per night, and $1,050 per week. $100 fully-refundable security deposit and a $50 cleaning fee required. Pets allowed; $25 pet fee.
50% deposit to confirm reservation, with the balance due 2 weeks before check-in. Cancellation policy: full refund of deposit if more than 30 days before scheduled check-in. If less than 30 days, a $50 or 10% cancellation fee applies, whichever is greater. Personal checks, bank cashiers and money orders acceepted. Credit card payments via Paypal.com (4% fee applies if using Paypal).
