4 Bedroom House in Skykomish

Riverside Ranch is a spectacular 3 acre property set at the end of a peaceful road overlooking the Skykomish River. The Ranch includes two separate dwellings, each with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The Main House features wood floors and a beautiful fireplace with a river rock hearth in the living area, which is separated from the kitchen by a custom solid wood breakfast bar. Each of the three bedrooms is carpeted and furnished with a queen bed. 
 
One of the bedrooms is set apart from the main quarters, accessible by a private French door entry from the riverside deck. Plenty of windows bring in natural light and the stunning river view. Surround sound stereo is built into every room, controlled by the entertainment center in the main living area. The smaller Guest House is a wonderful way to give another couple- or that group of noisy kids- a private space to retreat to. Guests will love the many ways available to enjoy the beautiful surroundings: the spacious riverside deck has plenty of places to lounge and take in the view. 
 
A river rock fire pit is built right in to the deck. A lush yard connects the two homes, with a partially covered hot tub set in between. Beginning in November, large parties can rent the newly remodeled Ranch Bungalow in conjunction with Riverside Ranch. This cute two bedroom cottage is just across the street and is a perfect addition allowing for expanded parties of up to 18 guests to share the Riverside Ranch experience.

The main house has 3 bedrooms (each with a queen bed), one of which must be accessed by a separate entrance from the deck. An air bed is available to set up in the living area. The Guest House has a queen bed, and a futon and available air bed in the living area to sleep 2 more if needed.

The Skykomish River runs swift and wild down the slopes of the Cascades and offers year round rafting, but the best runs are when the snow pack is flowing at it's peak (usually Spring and early Summer). This is considered one of the most challenging runs in the state, and has even been listed as one of the top 10 places to raft in the USA! While the main river has rapids ranging from class III to the infamous class V Boulder Drop, beginners may want to first take a scenic float trip in the lower river, then work up to the North Fork's class III and IV first. There are multiple guide companies that offer a range of trips, but even with a guide you should get to know the river and current conditions.
