Vacation Rental Description
The Jenne Farm Gathering House provides families and friends the rare opportunity to share time together in the satisfying, simple ways of the past. The beautiful 1908 home reminds of us of the quality and craftsmanship of that era. The views of the farm, prairie and water from each window and porch satisfies the spirit. The opportunity to cook and eat together, sit in front of the fireplace, have tea on the front porch, play croquet in the backyard, play games or put together puzzles in the parlor allows for memories that will last a lifetime. Farmer Fran will help children collect fresh eggs from the chickens, feed the goats and pigs, pet a cow, or maybe drive a tractor. Enjoy the beautiful gardens, big yard, and miles of farm roads through fields, brush and forest to the broad views on top of the hill, looking out to the Olympic mountains and Puget Sound.
If you desire more you can go into Coupeville, the historic seaside village, for a bite to eat, access to wifi and a good coffee, to shop around in the numerous antique, clothing, and unique shops. You can hike, bike, and kayak within one mile of the farm. You can take a ferry to Port Townsend for a fun day trip. The Jenne Farm is the perfect setting for people to enjoy time together and to find that peaceful place within themselves.
