Pirates Cove Caboose has been artfully remodeled from top to bottom. It's the result of the dreams and passion for trains of previous owners, Ed and Sue Taylor, Physicians who purchased and remodeled the Great Northern Caboose in 2001. Care was taken to use the highest quality materials throughout. The iron base and beautiful aged hardwood floors were preserved. New walls and a higher ceiling were built in the style of the original Great Northern caboose.

On the back side of the caboose is a spacious kitchen with full size stove and fridge. A bathroom and bedroom have been added. The large living room window offers expansive views of Puget Sound.

Pirates Cove Caboose sleeps up to 8, however is better for 2 to 6 people. The caboose is about 650 square feet.
Queen Bedroom with new, all memory foam mattress, feather pillows, down comforters, 2 person shower.

2 hand made sets of bunks as they originally appeared in the caboose provide room for four singles. The bunks share the "L" shaped bedroom with the queen, and are around a corner from the queen bed

A queen leather sofa sleeper is in the living room for a second couple. It is not your usual "boney metal frame in the back" sleeper, but has wood slats below the memory foam mattress. . . . one of the most comfortable sofa sleepers we have slept on.

There is one bathroom off the queen bedroom with spacious, 2 person shower

Towels, bedding provided. Good movies and French Roast coffee and grinder are in the Caboose.

Private hot tub looking right out to the water. Orca whales have been seen by guest while in the hot tub. We cannot promise this will happen but it is possible! A leather sofa sleeper and two leather side chairs adorn the living room. A Sony TV sits on the base of an antique stove. You'll find an excellent collection of DVD's, but no TV reception. Pirates Cove Caboose sleeps up to 8, however is better for 2 to 6 people. Belfair, 25 miles north, is a popular destination for many boaters, scuba divers & backpackers.
Theler Wedlands is in Belfair's backyard.

Shelton, a historic logging town w/great restaurants, antiques, a microbrewery & a museum located in the town's original town hall and library.

Olympia, the state capital, is 35 miles from Pirate's Cove, & offers classy dining, shops, theater, music & all the frills of the small town city.
