Studio Self Catering Apartment in Port Angeles

The Kiwi West studio is part of a victorian home built in 1892, one of the first homes built in Port Angeles. Many folks use Kiwi West as a home base to explore the awesome Olympic Peninsula and Victoria British Columbia. We are only a 5 minute drive from the Victoria ferries, 3 miles to the main entrance to the Olympic National Park.  
Look out the bay window and enjoy the majestic mountain view of the Olympics. We are conveniently nestled close to excellent restaurants, cafes, and shopping.  
Kiwi West offers all the comforts of home with a touch of New Zealand flare.  
 
Our chickens roam around the back yard, supplying fresh eggs seasonally. Enjoy a barbeque on your private back deck with a glass of your favorite wine, purchased from one of our many local wineries. In the cooler weather, cozy up by the fire-insert beside the luxury queen sized bed. Enjoy a movie from our video & dvd library, play a game of chess or cards or cook your favorite dish in our well equipped kitchen.  
 
Relax and enjoy your coffee or tea before taking off to the Peninsula's many places to explore. Visit the Hoh Rainforest, the Pacific Ocean beaches; Shi Shi beach was featured on the travel channel's top 10 wild beaches in the US, any of our many rivers or lakes, the Olympic National Park; Hurricane Ridge, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Cape Flattery; the furtherest Northwesterly point of the USA, the Voice of America is only 20 minutes East; or the Sequim Dungeness Spit/Lighthouse.  
 
Seattle is only two and a half to three hours away if you drive around. Or you can catch one of several Seattle ferries to Kingston or Bainbridge Island and drive over the Hood Canal. Visit another Peninsula Port; artsy Port Townsend is 1 hour East of Port Angeles. Forks is only one hour west, TWILIGHT FANS: fly into Port Angeles as Bella did. We are very eco-friendly! There is also a gas barbeque on your private deck, a fire-insert in the bedroom area, and an awesome vintage porcelain four-claw bathtub. Internet access is available and all linens are provided. Most amenities are provided including firewood, so just bring your luggage and groceries!
