Studio Lodge in Long Beach

LODGE: 
Lake Lodge is unique in so many ways. Originally a state of the art dance studio, this 1500 square foot grand Lodge is open and airy. 
 
In keeping with the grand feeling, the Lodge has floor to ceiling glass windows so no view is missed. A complete kitchen includes dishwasher, full-size range and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, and pots and pans. Sheets and towels are also provided. 
 
There are six beds, five queen and one full, so we can accommodate two to twelve guests. Privacy screens can separate the beds, or not, depending on your needs. 
 
The bathroom is separate from the sleeping, eating, and playing area. The toilet room affords privacy with its own door. The walk in shower has its own area, as does the vanity with a long counter top. 
 
For inside activities the Lodge features a pool table and ping pong table, satellite TV/DVD/VCR and a superb stereo system. Outside there is a 70x80-foot cement play area which includes a full-size basketball court. For basking under the stars while viewing the Lake, you can relax in a private outdoor spa with its own stereo speakers. 
 
LAND & ANIMALS: 
We have 33 secluded acres, fronted on Loomis Lake, which abounds with life, both wild and domestic. 
 
You’ll meet our friendly, very well trained German Shepherds. They would love to show you the farm.

# Zara, bred by the Monks of New Skete, is always looking for someone to play with. 
 
Our Parelli trained Arabians: 
# Narnia, the grand dame, who is often at liberty on the farm grounds 
# Snickers, her very laid back son 
# Felicia, the copper beauty of the farm 
 
We milk our cows, and our black bull mostly sleeps his days away. Our newest addition is Charlie, a mini Jersey-Dexter bull. Our ducks waddle around everywhere. 
 
Barn swallows live and produce their young in the rafters of our barn. There's a delightful, daily show of their antics. 
 
And what would a barn be without a barn cat or four? 
 
When you’re hanging out, particularly in the mornings or evenings, you might see eagles and osprey, wild ducks and swans. If all is quiet, you'll see deer, and depending on the time of year, fawns.

If you're traveling with your horses, there is no better place for a vacation than Lake Lodge Bed & Barn. We can accommodate up to 20 horses. The fenced pastures provide grazing and security. Some of these pastures have lush green grass and some are dry lots. We have three barn stalls available for rent. Our covered riding arena, with lights and sound system, means you can ride anytime - no matter what the weather is doing. There is also a large round pen next to the arena. 
 
And the piece de resistance - beaches. Twenty-eight miles of spectacular, uninterrupted, sandy beaches. Pure joy for horse and rider!
