The open plan kitchen, livingroom, diningroom allows for informal entertaining with flat screen T.V. The fully equipped kitchen opens to a vaulted ceiling diningroom/livingroom overlooking the ocean. There is a side-by-side fridge with water and ice dispenser, countertop stove, wall oven, built-in microwave, dishwasher and garburator, making it easy to prepare and share family meals together. The master bedroom features a king size bed, T.V. and ensuite bathroom. The other bedrooms have a queen bed and double bed. 
 
To the west, enjoy views of spectacular sunsets, the San Juan Islands and the northshore mountains above Vancouver, B.C. There is always something to see at the beach, whether it is a pod of orca whales, seals, sea otters or bald eagles and herons - even the odd deer walking the beach - or simply watching all the marine acitvity of fishing boats, pleasure craft and sea-going freighters. Relax in the hot tub on the deck and take in all the natural scenery. Walk the beach for miles or build your own campfire to roast hotdogs and marshmallows. 
 
The house comes fully furnished and equipped - from dishes and linens to books and boardgames. Bring your own canoes or kayaks to launch at your front door - or if you have a larger boat, there is a boat launch at the marina 1/2 mile away. For those of you that are health enthusiasts, the area boasts miles of flat land for walking, running or biking. There is excellent seasonal crabbing and salmon fishing in the ocean right in front of the house. 
 
Close to all major shopping and numerous golf courses. 1 mile to Barlean's for fresh seafood of all kinds, 3 miles to the Silver Reef Casino and 10 miles to the Bellingham International Airport. Travel north 1 hour to Vancouver, B.C. or south 1-1/2 hours to Seattle, Wa. or east 1 hour to majestic Mt. Baker.
