Afton Log Cabin Get-Away is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Nelson County, Virginia, just 10 miles from I-64 between Charlottesville and Waynesboro. Cozy, quaint, and secluded on 12 wooded acres. Enjoy snow skiing, tennis and golf at nearby Wintergreen Resort and swimming, hiking, and fishing at Sherando Lake near Waynesboro, VA. First floor of log cabin is a family room with kitchenette and bathroom. Loft has two sleeping areas with one double and one twin bed. New Blue Ridge Room on second floor with queen bed is accessible from both the loft and a private entrance from balcony and steps that lead to the yard.

The wrap-around porch and large rear deck with picnic table and Adirondack chairs enhance the livability and enjoyment of the cabin. Hammock, swing, and basketball hoop extend the fun into the spacious yard surrounding the cabin.

For indoor entertainment, there is satellite television with VCR capability (three TVs) and a CD player.

The kitchenette has dishes, utensils, pots/pans, range-top coffee-maker, electric range, refridgerator, and microwave. Coffee, creamer, sugar, and some seasonings and spices provided. Paper products for bath and kitchen are provided.

Central heating and air conditioning as well as optional gas log heater ensure temperature comfort year-round.

Bedspreads, blankets, and pillows provided. Guests supply own linens (sheets, pillowcases, bath/kitchen towels and cloths). Should guests request linens, additional fees are charged.

Loft has 2 sleeping areas with 1 double bed and 1 twin bed.

Weeknights $85 per night (Mon-Thu nights)

Weekend nights $100 per night (Fri-Sun nights)

Weekly $600 for 7 seven consecutive nights

Cabin with new rear deck and wrap-around porch INCLUDING new Blue Ridge Room above rear porch.

Loft beds above plus queen bed in new Blue Ridge Room.

Weeknights $110 per night (Mon-Thu nights)

Weekend nights $125 per night (Fri-Sun nights)

Weekly $700 for 7 consecutive nights

Guests provide linens and personal toiletries.

$25 Reservation/Security deposit required within five days of making reservation. Deposit is returned or destroyed if guests leave cabin clean and undamaged and keys are returned to owner. If a reservation is cancelled three or more days before check-in date, the Reservation/Security deposit is returned or destroyed.

Deposit and Payment is to be made by check, money order, or cash. No credit cards.

Daily and weekly rates available. Two night minimum visit required.

Cabin Rates:
Loft Rate Sleeps 3 guests - Loft has two sleeping areas with one double bed and one twin bed.

Blue Ridge Room (BR Rm) Rate Sleeps 5 guests. Includes the Loft sleeping areas plus the new Blue Ridge Room with queen bed, private balcony, and steps that lead to the yard.

Guests provide own linens and personal toiletries.
