Welcome to the Old Post House. Built in the 1830s, this charming brick farmhouse has been updated for your vacationing pleasure. Located less than 15 minutes from Stowe Mountain skiing, the Waterbury Reservoir, Long Trail hiking and Mad River Valley kayaking, you will be hard-pressed to find a house more centrally located. Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream factory tour, the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Ziemke's Glass Blowing Studio and Stowe Village are just a few attractions you can reach in just minutes. The house has much of its original character with its wide-plank pine flooring, a vintage claw foot bathtub and hand-hewn ceiling timbers. There's even a spacious backyard with panoramic mountain and sunset views. If you decide this is the place you'd like to stay, we have room for up to six people in our three bedroom, one bath lodgings. Bring a few of your closest friends or family. They'll thank you for it!

A maximum of 6 people are allowed. This rental is for families and mature friends only. Rowdy partiers are not welcome. No smoking is allowed in the house. No pets are allowed. A 9% Vermont rental tax will be added to your rental fee.
