Vacation Rental Description
The Cozy Cottage is ideal for a romantic interlude for two -- a home away from home for a small family. There's lots of room to roam on this large property. Two houses are situated on a 1-acre lot. The larger house ("Southern Comfort" sleeps up to 10 -- some families rent out the entire property for family reunions or gatherings.) 
 
Kids love the jungle gym in the back area -- which can easily be seen from the screened patio. Adults and kids alike enjoy gathering around the firepit to roast marshmallows or hotdogs. The Cozy Cottage is situated in an ideal location, only 10 mins from downtown, about 20 mins from the airport and most attractions. 10 mins from the AT&T Center, home of the Spurs and host of many wonderful concerts.  
 
The house is completely furnished, from coffee to pillows, with many amenities. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom; a daybed in 2nd bedroom, and a full-sized couch that makes a bed in the living room. One bathroom with shower and tub. Two TVs, Internet. Our guests enjoy spending time in the screened, covered patio, which offers comfy chairs and views of the abundant birds and squirrels that frequent the yard.  
 
Once you step into this charming little place, you'll feel as you have stepped back in time. You'll be able to kick back and relax. Cook in, or enjoy some of the restaurants nearby. Or take that 10-min drive to the RiverWalk and enjoy the ambiance there.

    Most major credit cards accepted. No checks. If money order is used, we require full payment on booking. 1/2 of stay is required on booking. The other 1/2 is required the day of arrival. There is an additional charge of $25 when bringing an animal. This is not a deposit but payment for the additional cleaning required after departure. When cancellation is necessary, we appreciate as much advance notice as possible in order to rebook the property. We prefer to "credit" your stay for a future stay if you will be coming at a later date. If not, we refund your deposit -- if we have at least 1 week's notice. Less than that, we refund 1/2 of your deposit.
