Vacation Rental Description
Our place is a home-style B&B in the Monte Vista Historic District, a quiet, residential area two miles north of the downtown attractions such as the Alamo, the River Walk, El Mercado, and others. Our old house, built in 1904, welcomes you from the time you step inside. Folks tell us they like the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere at O'Casey's. We have seven guest rooms with private baths, and our rates are among the most affordable, $89 - $110 for a room for two. Special prices are available for rental of the entire property.
We're easy-going, friendly folks who like to help guests discover the best of our great city of San Antonio. We're not tightly structured. We give you a key to come and go as you please while you're a guest here. Breakfast is served in the dining room anytime between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. (earlier if you're heading out to a day of business meetings). There's a refrigerator in the dining room so you may store cold drinks or bring home some delicious leftovers from one of San Antonio's great restaurants. Come see us!

O'Casey's is a great place for a reunion of family and friends. There is plenty of space where folks may gather and catch up on lives that have taken different directions. Our dining room seats 14, and the area is immediately adjacent to the main living room. Pictures of our rooms and common areas are available on our web site.

San Antonio boasts two fine theme parks: Sea World San Antonio, and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. They are situated on the edge of town, an easy drive from our place. Nearby San Pedro Springs Park is one of the oldest dedicated parks in the USA. The swimming pool there, which is free and open to the public from the end of May to the middle of August, is fed by the natural spring flowing in the park. There are playgrounds for children there. We are located just 3 miles or so from the San Antonio Zoo, Japanese Sunken Gardens, and San Antonio Botanical Gardens. One of San Antonio's famous attractions is the Alamo, the site of a siege by Mexican General Santa Anna that resulted in the death of Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie, and Colonel William Travis. The Alamo is one of 5 old missions located here. The other 4 are located in a National Park south of downtown, where there are hiking and biking trails.
