Lake LBJ is in the heart of the Hills Country, just an hour outside of Austin. The lake is very popular with boaters, fishermen, campers and swimmers. The lake is so large that you will never feel crowded on the lake; there is always plenty of 'elbow room'. There are a lot of restaurants near Lake LBJ: you will find steaks and barbecue, Mexican food and good old Texas home cooking.
