Vacation Rental Description
Enjoy the sunrise and pelican/dolphin watching with your morning cup of coffee on our 22 FT balcony with plenty of patio chairs for everyone. Balcony on the east side, shaded all afternoon! We are the last condo on the west end of the Seawall about 2 miles from 61st St. Great location, the first “beach access” is only 1/4 mile west of the condo! We are down from all the crowded hubbub of 61st St and the noisy, crowded public beaches. The “beach accesses” are so much nicer, less crowded and you can drive your car right onto the beach with all your beach "stuff" which makes it so convenient. We are 3 1/2 miles from Moody Gardens.
Cozy wood laminate floors and carpeted bedrooms. Renovated 776 sq. ft roomy unit with view of the waves from living room and master bedroom. Relax in master bedroom with queen bed, flat screen TV/DVD, & glass sliding door to balcony for listening to the waves at night! The kids will love the 'fishy' decor bedroom with fishnets hanging above beds, bunk with full bottom mattress, top twin mattress. Also an extra twin bed. TV/DVD. There are bunk beds in hall area with full size twin pillow top mattresses, comfortable for the little ones and adults too! Full size appliances in fully stocked kitchen for your cooking needs! Remodeled baths. Two futons in living room that open to full beds. Collection of DVD's for the whole family. Two pools (best on island) open until 11PM with underwater lighting, large bubbling hot tub large enough for the entire family, lush grounds with walking path and rock water fall. Fully equiped excersize/weight room beside front office. Wi-Fi internet in office. 2 elevators in complex and under-building parking.
You will love the atmosphere the first time you walk around Maravilla. Everyone is so friendly. All the condos are privately owned, most people live there and only some owners rent out to guests. I think that is why it is so quiet and everyone is so friedly. Maravilla is very family oriented, quieter than the condos up by the public beaches. Our end of Seawall is so much better. Once you experience the Maravilla, you will be back again and again. I have many "return" guests that come every year. Try us out and you will be one of them too!

About us?.... We are a retired couple living in Pennsyvania near Pittsburgh, GO STEELERS! We went to Galveston 2 years ago and fell in love with it. We really reviewed all the condos before we bought and definitetly decided Maravilla Resort was the best on the island. Liked it so much, we bought 2! Its a family atmosphere, the last condo on the Seawall going West. Close to "beach access" (much better that public beaches near 61st) You will love Galveston and love our condo. I really took time to decorate and buy furniture to make is as comfortable and homey as I could. I have gotten many compliments on the decor...
My favorite thing to do is sit on balcony and watch the Pelicans. The "KINGS" of the island hang out on the tall condo building next door to us and at sundown they fly around it and glide on the breeze from the ocean. Its like they are putting on a show just for me. I have binoculars there for your use to get a good close up of these majestic creatures. I pride myself on having the condo well stocked for my quests so they have a wonderful experience and want to come back and have had several return again and again! Infact, I have gotten to know so much about them from our emails, they seem like old friends! And, since I love making new friends, come stay at Maravilla, you won't be disappointed!
