Ponderosa Log cabin is rustic and roomy and has fantastic seasonal lakefrontage with a private dock. It’s 7 bedrooms make it perfect for large family reunions, or group gatherings! The home has wood laminate floors throughout the upstairs, REal wood floors in the living room and Tile in the Kitchen and baths. The dining table will sit 12 and the picnic table on the porch will sit 10 + 2 picnic tables in the yard. Ponderosa sits on about a 3 acre peninsula that is vertually flat. on the back side yard to the dock it does slope to the lake. You can enjoy any sports here you can imagine with all this usable yard area. You can enjoy swimming, boating, kayaking, skiing, fishing, all day and when you wear out come sit on the covered proches and rock or swing til you rest then have a game of football or what ever else you can think of. All those grandchildren can and run and play and there is no one else around for them to bother. At the ponderosa your family can truly have a fun filled vacation without the worry of traffic, or hillsides to fall off or neighbors to worry about.

    • Douglas lake is in East Tennesse. close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so after you have fished, skied, swam or boated all day you can drive into the tourist areas for any of the actities there, such as Dollywood, outlet malls, restaurants, Horseback riding, snow skiing in the witner time in Gatlinburg. The National Park for hiking etc. ther are several marinas on the lake if you need to rent a boat or you can bring your own and leave at your priate dock at your cabin. Thre are beautiful sunrisesand sunsets across the lake. come enjoy our Great Smoky Mountains and all that we have to offer
