This is a condo at Powhatan Plantation available 23-30 Aug 2008, located in an attractive setting with ponds and water fowl in beautiful Williamsburg, VA. We were planning on using the unit this year but cannot make it.
The condo is an open and bright unit on ground level with a master bedroom, 1 full bath, full kitchen, wash/dryer, dining room, living room w/ pull-out couch and in suite jacuzzi. The unit sleeps four with room on the floor for kids in sleeping bags.
The resort and area are very family oriented. The resort has a recreation center with large outdoor pool complex, jacuzzi, and indoor pool. The unit is one of the closest to the pools and w/in easy walking distance. There are also activities/events scheduled for adults and kids throughout the week, racquetball and tennis courts, playgrounds, duck ponds, restaurant, and snack bar. Busch Gardens, Water Country, and Historic Williamsburg are only a few miles away - about a 10 min drive. You're also close to Jamestown, Yorktown, William and Mary College, VA Beach, Outlet Malls, and a PGA golf course.
