Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin on wooded acreage convenient to Murphy NC. Home has 1 bedroom and bath downstairs for your convenience, and 1 bedroom and bath in the loft. The bedrooms each have a very comfortable queen-size bed, plus the loft bedroom has a daybed with a pop-up trundle that's also very comfortable. This way the cabin sleeps up to 6 people without using an uncomfortable sofabed.
There's a large, partially covered deck wrapping 2 sides of the cabin. On the covered deck there are rocking chairs for your relaxation. There's a charcoal grill and patio table and chairs for outdoor dining. Access to this home is excellent -- paved road all the way to the driveway.
Inside there's a cozy gas fireplace, TVs in the living room and both bedrooms, and a DVD player. There's a dining area and a breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. There's a laundry room in case you need it.
You'll love the natural setting here -- walking around on the property and birdwatching. My guests come back for return stays!

Murphy NC is a quaint little town with one main traffic light. The downtown area has cute shops and restaurants. Just outside town there are a couple great flea markets. Of course there are numerous wonderful little restaurants. Cherokee Golf Course is nearby, as are trails, a nice river walk, tennis courts, horseback riding, rivers and lakes. Murphy is in a great location -- halfway between the Nantahala Forest and the Cherokee National Forest. This also makes it a very convenient location to go rafting or kayaking on either the Nantahala River or the Ocoee River.
Other nearby areas of intereste are Asheville NC, Helen GA, Blue Ridge GA. You can even spend a day at Six Flags in Atlanta.
The beauty of the Murphy area is that there are many daytrips you can make, then head back to the solitude of my Hummingbird Hill cabin.

Everything is provided for your stay, including linens. This cabin is so nearly new that everything is attractive and clean. Hardwood floors everywhere but the bedrooms. All appliances, electronics, bedding, etc. are like new.
There's plenty of parking if you have more than one car or are pulling a boat or trailer. There are no steep roads or driveway to maneuver. Wonderful access and location -- the house is not far from Downtown Murphy.
My previous guests have always appreciated the honest way arrangements have been accomplished in dealing with me.
