Trout Creek is a wonderful, new, private chalet situated right next to a nice trout stream. There's not another cabin in sight! With a little skill, you can catch dinner in the creek! Crossing the bridge, you are on your property. Drive up to the house and marvel at the solitude. Enter the screened porch and think of how nice it would be to relax here and listen to the creek. When you enter the house, you come into a great room. Across the room is a beautiful stone fireplace. There are two sets of glass doors leading out unto the deck, a comfy seating area, a media center with lots and lots of videos, and beautiful mountain décor. Also in the great room are a dining table and upscale kitchen. Step out the door, and you are on two decks leading down to the creek. You’ll notice the picnic table, Weber grill, and hammock.
Going back inside the house, you’ll find the George Washington bedroom, a den with a futon, a bathroom, and a laundry room. Here’s where you’ll have access to a washer and dryer as well as ironing board.
Go up the stairs to the huge loft, and you’ll see another full bathroom with two sinks and a separate shower. The king size bed looks inviting…and it is! Our mattresses aren’t lumpy like some rentals; how nice to get a good night’s sleep! There’s also a TV in the loft, office area, and walk-in closet. Look through the windows, and you can see the creek going by.
Trout Creek is special. You’ll be lot quite a few other folks; you’ll want to come back again for another wonderful vacation in the Smoky Mountains.
