This "Cracker house",built in 1922 is one block from Hunter Springs Beach and Park in an area that was the original downtown of the village of Crystal River. In those days the residential area was nicknamed "Little Michigan".It is 1/2 block from Citrus Ave which was the original "Main Street". As a result of a great effort from the citizens and the City, The area is largely preserved and redeveloped.It's cute. The house is a 3/1/1 furnished with antiques. The small house out back labled "guest house" is actually the original laundry and bath house hence the chimney. It now contains the thouroughly modern washer and dryer. This is an elaborately furnished house with antiques that include two china cabinets with china and crystal,2 full sized and 2 twin antique beds,fireplace,all towels and linens,2 TV's with full cable service (85 channels),water cooler,fully equipped kitchen with full sized refrigerator and stove,microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. In addition to an incredible gin clear freshwater spring, Hunter Springs is the home of a large population of Manatees to swin and dive with.
