The ocean can be heard from the house.The location is great because it takes you off Palm Blvd., the main busy street but you still have access to the beach with in 300 ft of ocean across the street. There is no thru-faire so no traffic there and all residential neighbors, so please respect them. The house is located between 29th and 30th -- a short beachwalk to downtown IOP and walking distance to Morgan's Marina..where Bill Murray owner of the baseball group hangs out..both areas have restaurants, grocery stores shopping areas entertainment 7 nights a week..

It is built in town house fashion so it provides a lot of privacy for bedrooms upstairs where others cannot be heard downstairs. There is an excellent closed in porch that you can open up with lots of windows that can add heat/cool space. The back an front entrance has been totally landscaped due to request of people who loved the house an location but did not appreciate the natural look, I have kept alot of the wildness for the birds in the very back..so they're happy.All homes that are built at this time and older have that old beach house smell I love the beams of the home are heart of pine so is the inteior walls. This wood gives an old beach house wonderful smell. ..It's just like buying homes either you like new or old..This home I love out of the twelve I remoldeled after Hugo.There is a recreational complex free for all a few blocks behind that has an indoor and outdoor basketball court.. With in-door ping pong , workout facilities and yoga. Call the Isle of Palms Rec Center..its all free. The hot tub is great and It's secluded.. It is also a mineral spa not chlorine. ...please shower before you use to remove oils and absorb minerals for full benefit. Please feed the 40 species of birds with seed the Captain leaves .
