3 Bedroom Townhouse in Edisto Island

Edisto Beach located on Edisto Island, just south of Charleston in South Carolina, is a quiet, sleepy, little town that is just perfect for a vacation filled with R&R or.....more activity than you can fit into your time here. The 'CHOICE' is yours!  
 
Our duplex is located on the golf course of Ocean Ridge Resort, on Edisto Island. This spacious unit has two bedrooms and an open sleeping loft. With two queen-size beds and two singles, it will comfortably sleep a total of six guests. There are two bathrooms -- including a master bathroom with a jacuzzi.  
 
Our house has a fully-equipped kitchen which includes a microwave oven, coffee maker, blender, electric can opener, dishwasher and just about every kitchen utensil you will need. There is also a Reverse Osmosis fresh water system in the kitchen. Amenities include central air conditioning, a washer/dryer, DVD/VCR, Audio Entertainment Center, cable TV, phone, and covered parking. We also have HI SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS at the house for all of our guests who bring along their laptops.  
 
Special features include ceiling fans in every room, vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, a 42' Flat Screen TV and a screened porch surrounded by palm trees and a huge, lovely, old live oak that provides plenty of shade without obstructing the view of the golf course. The carport under the house provides parking for 2 cars, an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a picnic table and an old fashion wooden swing and a Charcoal BBQ Grill.  
 
We also have a small library of paperback books, children and adult videos, games and puzzles. And...in case you would like to picnic on the beach or anywhere, there is even a cooler in the hall closet and ice packs in the freezer. 
 
We offer a DIGITAL LOCK on our front door. You NEVER have to worry about carrying keys and every guests gets their OWN PERSONAL CODE, that is only good for the length of their stay. This provides a high level of security for your family and your belongings. 
 
With no traffic, crowds, or traffic lights, the drive to the beach (where the resort has a private cabana) is short and sweet. Pull right up to the beach access and park your car. After all, this is quiet, relaxing Edisto -- not some crowded traffic filled beach. 
 
There are wonderful nearby nature walks -- with a wide selection of birds to see along the way, including blue herons, snowy egrets, and pelicans. There is a playground area for the kids and miniture golf. Some resort activities require a recreation pass that can be acquired for a modest fee at the recreation center. Edisto offers activities for every member of the family. A $125 refundable house damage deposit is required with each rental. Our week during the High Season runs from Saturday to Saturday. Activities include swimming on the beach or in one of the pools on the resort (covered & heated in winter months), golf on the newly refurbished course, tennis, biking, surf fishing, crabbing, boating.

You will need to bring your own linens and towels, however, if you would like to rent them I will be happy to provide you with that information.

• Travel Info: If arriving by plane or train in Charleston, SC, it is about a one hour drive to Wyndham's Ocean Ridge Resort where our house is located. We are also just about an hour off of interstate I95.
