This property is located in a community known as "Shelter Harbor". As a member of this community residents are given tags enabling them to use a private ocean beach, about a 15 minute drive away. Other privileges are the use of private tennis courts and walks in a private forest.

There is an excellent Inn nearby for dining and guests, golf courses,shopping, movies, etc. We are a short drive to the Mohegan and Foxwoods Casinos. Foxwoods has a very interesting Museum of the American Indian, good for children.
Interesting day trips to Block Island just off the coast can be made by ferry nearby, and the Town of Newport gives visitors a chance to tour the fascinating "cottages" of the wealthy of a bygone era.

If you are ready to decide on a date my son acts as my agent to handle all details. The deposit requirements are 1/2 of the rental amount as a deposi upon signing the lease with the balance to follow approximately 3 weeks before occupancy. There is also a security deposit, returnable if there is no damage and a cleaning deposit. Pets are not permitted.
