Skylights and 8' sliders to a large deck on the main living area provide generous light, air and view to a spacious private yard. A large bedroom/playroom ground level doubles as a separate space for activities and sleeping. Beach chairs are provided for sun and fun on miles of ocean beach and fresh-water/salt-water ponds that are just minutes away.

So many choices for outdoor activities! A public boat launch, boat rentals, Ninigret National Wildlife Sanctuary, birding, canoeing, kayaking, wind-surfing, and sailing are all within Charlestown. Ninigret Park, located in Charlestown, offers a fresh-water pond with a lifeguard for young children, walking trails, picnic areas, basketball and tennis courts and an observatory to see the night sky through a telescope.

Entertainment, restaurants and sightseeing are all within 35 a minute drive. Spring, Summer and Autumn are all great times to explore Mystic Village, Mystic Seaport and Aquarium. Newport Mansions, Newport village with it's festivals, unique shops, lively nightclubs and restaurants can be a wonderful place to spend an entire day and evening. Walk through the historic town of Wickford and explore antique stores and galleries. Don't miss the Umbrella Factory gardens and shops right on Charlestown for a unique experience in shopping. Enjoy summer theater at it's best at Theatre-By-The-Sea. Take a ferry to Block Island and stop in Galilee for fresh seafood right off the boat. Dining choices are many, from casual, al fresco, to fine dining. Foxwoods Casino offers great headliner entertainment as well as the casino experience. Don't have a boat but want a change of scene and get out on the water? Take a sight seeing boat around Newport or a ferry to Block Island.

Summer sports abound with swimming, surfing, fishing, kayaking, sailing, motor-boating and the best flat water and ocean canoeing in Rhode Island just minutes away. Practice your swing at the public golf range to get ready for playing one of the 7 golf courses located close by. Summer is also the time to enjoy the Big Apple Circus at Ninigret Park, music concerts, seafood festivals and Summer theater all within a short drive.

September through October is a perfect time to still catch warm beach days and some of the best fishing, sailing and windsurfing of the year.

Conveniences like local fresh food markets, deli's, video rentals, fine dining, as well as stores for major shopping are all within 30 minutes for a comfortable vacation.

The outdoor shower is a great way to wash away beach sand after a day in the sun. Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your convenience. The outdoor grill and patio table on the deck are easily accessed through the 2 large sliding doors from the kitchen/living area for barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book under the umbrella. Additional services such as linens or cleaning are not included in the rent, however, if you let us know in advance, we can provide linens and/or cleaning service for a separate fee which could then be deducted from the security deposit.

The Charlestown area is full of opportunities for great outdoor experiences in addition to the long ocean beaches. Ninigret Park has a playground, walking and biking trails, a swimming pond, picnic areas and hosts a Seafood Festival, Music Festival and the Big Apple Circus during the summer months. There are several Nature and Wildlife Preserves which are great for hiking and birdwatching. Numerous golf courses are located within 1/2 hour drive as well as shopping, a variety of restaurants and a movie theater. In town there is a library and video rental for rainy days. Newport and Mystic Seaport with their activities, museums, mansion tours and special events are within a 40 minute drive. Theatre-By-The-Sea in Matunuck provides wonderful live summer theater producing shows from Broadway, Bistro entertainment and dining and is only 15 minutes away.

During high and shoulder seasons, rental periods run from Saturday to Saturday, minimum of 7 nights. Off season nightly rentals may be arranged with a minimum of 3 nights stay for $127 per night. Payment by check for 1/2 the rent amount plus a $300 refundable security/cleaning deposit is required to reserve a time period. The balance is due by 4 weeks prior to arrival date. If cancellations are made up to 6 weeks prior to rental period, payments will be refunded, less a $100 handling fee. Any cancellations made closer than 6 weeks up through the rental, there will be no refund of payments made unless we can successfully rent the reserved time period to another party for the same amount. In that case, payments would be returned less the security deposit amount.
