This beautiful lake front home is a welcome retreat all year round. Whether you like skiing, golfing or any other form of outdoor acitivities this is the place for you. Sit out on the two tier deck and watch the local wild life right in your own back yard or take a stroll down to your own private dock and take a ride in the canoe. This is a great place for families and friends or for a romantic getaway for two. Lots of great shopping close by and plenty of good but inexpensive restaurants. Whatever you like to do you will probably be able to find it close by. Come sit for a while and enjoy the breeze.

    • Our private development offers many facilities including tennis courts, volley ball courts, childrens play area. We also have a beautiful clean beach with lifegaurds on duty from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor day weekend. You can swim in the lake at this beach area. We also have our a beautiful fishing dock or you can take your boat out and fish right on the lake. If you have your own boat you can launch it from our commumal boat dock. It is a beautiful place to walk or bike. The whole development is surrounded by State Park land so there is plenty of opportunity to see the local wild life shich includes wild turkeys, deer and if you are really lucky the occasional bear. We are situated about 2 hours from New York City and about an hour and a half from Philadelphia. Bus service to both cities is available close by.

    Weekend rental security deposit of $300.00 Weekly rental security deposit of $500.00 Security deposit required at the time of booking. Remainder of fees required in full 30 days prior to arrival. Payments may be made by personal check (if the check will clear the bank before arrival), money order or pay pal. However, if pay pal is used the cost of the transaction will be deducted from the security deposit. Cancellations made less than one month prior to scheduled arrival will result in loss of security deposit. Rental amount refund will depend on when cancellation is made. Memorial Day, Labor Day and July 4th weekends three day minimum required. Rates are subject to change as we are making major upgrades to this property

    I started renting out my property in 1983 but took a few years off. In 2007 my daughter and I decided that it was time to upgrade the house and start renting it out again.
    We started by ripping out the old kitchen and putting in a new one. It is a fully equipped kitchen and includes an indoor grill which is great when the weather is too cold to go and barbecue outside. We opened up the wall so that when you are cooking you can still see the living room and more importantly you can see the beautiful view outside to the lake.
    Since then we have added the fabulous deck and paved patio, put in all new sliding glass doors, air conditioners, fans, bedding and the list goes on. It is my intent to finish the basement and make it into a recreation room, all in good time.
    When my guests come to my home I want them to feel as cozy and comfortable as they would in their own homes.
    I love my Pocono home and I hope that my guests can feel that when they walk through the door.
