Vacation Rental Description

Come and enjoy our cozy house located in a magnificent Ponderous Pine forest for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. We are located 2 miles on the west side of Sisters in the development Tollgate. We have lots of choices for recreation in Tollgate or around our area. We have walking or bike paths through our development. Tollgate has a solar heated pool for summer use only The tennis court and a basketball court in the common area of the development is available year round. The tennis court and basketball court is not covered, so may have snow on the ground in the winter. Around the area you will find choices of recreation from golfing, fishing (world class fly fishing or bait fishing) in lakes, rivers or streams, boating, rafting, rock climbing, hiking, skiing (downhill, cross country), and snowmobile.

The house is stocked with lots of kitchen supplies plus ample towels and bedding. The house has 2 bedrooms each with a queen size bed, convertible sofa into a queen size bed. There is 1 bathroom. There ia also a full size washer and dryer with soap provided.

There are 2 decks, one deck down and the other up with nice comfortable outside furniture.

For your comfort there is A/C and fans for the summer, although it normally cools down at night with our nice mountain air. The house is heated with individual room heat controlled by separate thermostats plus a wood stove with wood supplied.

We have a TV with a built-in DVD with a few movies, cable, CD/radio/cassette player and a phone.

There is an outside locked storage area for guests bikes , skiis or ?

Sisters is a fun western town which has many art galleries, antique stores, restaurants and shops. Sisters has many events all year long from music concerts, Sisters Rodeo, and the Sisters National Quilt Show.

Bend and Redmond have very nice shopping and restauarants. Redmond and Bend also have many recreational opportunites around both cities. Both are 20 miles away from Sisters.
Remond is our airport for commericial flights. Portland, Oregon is 175 miles away with the largest airport which has international flights as well as domestic flights.
