Vacation Rental Description
If you want a quiet place to vacation that has awesome views, nestled in trees, looking out at a panoramic view of the pacific ocean then you've found the right place. A Gathering Place is all that and more. We're near the end of a quiet residential street. From our driveway it takes minutes to walk or drive down to a place to park your car and step onto the sand. You can walk for miles in either direction. The upstairs is a Great Room concept. Open so that the views are uninterrupted, is the living room, dining area, really large kitchen, and fireplace and game area. Also upstairs are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and laundry room. Downstairs is the Master Suite with large walk-in closet, private bath, and sitting area with sofa and t.v. There is plenty of parking available and a garage. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to it too. AHHHHH.
It takes a few minutes to drive to Newport proper which has an abundance of good restaurants, public library, internet cafes, shopping and much more. Historic Nye Beach is 10 minutes away. Local businesses also include Safeway Grocery, Thrityway Market, Fred Meyer, Wal-Mart, and many more.
You can go hiking, bird watching, take a wildflower and nature tour, do a wine country tour, play gold, bike to your hearts content or run on many of our Oregon trails. There is also kayaking, boating, beach combing, and sunbathing. There are also Museums and Historic Sites.

We also provide lots of puzzles, games, a dvd, a vcr, c.d. player, t.v. and a game table too. Lots of space for the family or group of friends to come together to enjoy being together.

After filling in a Registration Form and verifying that the dates you want are available, we need a deposit of $350.00 to hold your reservation. The balance is due 2 weeks before arrival. We also have a $500.00 security deposit requirement. This is fully refundable if there is no damage, loss, or breakage during your stay. We accept visa, mastercard cards, and are setting up with PayPal. We do not accept "MILEAGE or Awards Travel" cards as they have a very high processing fee. Using one would result in having the fee charged back to you. Thank you for honoring this request. We also accept checks and money orders. If you cancel 45 days in advance we will give you a full refund. At 30 days or less, we will refund your deposit if we are able to re-rent the house, with a $50.00 fee. Whenever we are able to re-rent we are happy to refund your deposit back.
