The Smoky Mountain Mansion in Robbinsville, North Carolina. Remote, yet accessible, quiet and peaceful, yet area activities abound! We specialize in destination weddings and host high end motorcycle and car clubs. Our lovely grounds, wedding chapel and dining pavilion will make your stay memorable...and you will want to come back. The huge home sleeps 18 to 22 people with ease. You can choose self catering or ask our staff to provide a special Smoky Mountain Barbeque after your group has rafted one of the nearby whitewater rivers. Our guests tell us that no pictures can describe the beauty of the Mansion and the area.

    • Gorgeous hot tub, located on the back porch. Relax and unwind in the hot tub with a glass of wine. The wedding chapel seats 125 people and provides the backdrop for a most romantic wedding! We also have an outside wedding gazebo that has hosted numerous outdoor weddings - just beautiful. The covered dining pavilion is perfect for an outside wedding reception, and our DJ is among the best in the Southeast. Our formal garden is one of the most peaceful and serene places you will ever visit. Surrounded by mountains and majestic trees, simply savor the movement of a butterfly or the racing wings of a hummingbird. Smell the roses, or in the spring, be dazzled by the vibrant pink flowering cherry trees and sweet flowering almond, or the sunny yellow of huge forsythia. Maybe you will even catch a glimpse of the local cat!

    • The famed Tail of the Dragon, known worldwide by motorcyle enthusiasts, begins in Robbinsville, NC, only a few short miles from the Mansion. The Cherohala Skyway, one of the most expensive roads in the United States, also begins in Robbinsville. The Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest is about 6 miles from the Mansion, and Lake Santeetlah, the "Gem of the Smokies" is only 2 miles from the Mansion. Tremendous lake fishing and fly fishing in local rivers has been described as rivaling fishing in Montana. Every road and every turn of the road brings more beauty and grandeur. Words cannot express the beautiful surroundings, and the pleasant, hospitable people in the area. This area was one of the last in North Carolina to be settled, and full blooded Cherokee Indians live alongside their neighbors of Scot and Irish descent. Traditional dancing on Friday summer evenings in downtown Robbinsville, Appalachian music, and wonderful memories await.
