Come to PONDEROSA for ultimate relaxation. Beautiful two story log home at 4900 feet of elevation in the mountains of Maggie Valley, North Carolina. A serene private woodsy home on 1.25 acres with wonderful view. Be in remote privacy and feel the stress flow out of you. A 1530 sq ft home w/ 2 bedrooms w/ queen size bed and loft w/ queen size sleeper sofa and trundle twin beds. Full Kitchen and washer/dryer.
Back covered porch w/ rocking chairs and wonderful views. Hot tub on covered deck. Isolated area. Include many DVD's for viewing; include free firewood, firepit down path. Very woodsy area. Close proximity to Heintooga Rd in the Smoky Mountain National Park. Have foosball table and air hockey table. Elevation of home is 4900 Ft.
Road is a hard surface dirt/gravel with steep access for 0.5 mile. Total length of rod is 1.3 miles; recommend all wheel drive for inclement weather. Otherwise front wheel drive accessible.

Sit in the HOT TUB under covered deck, view extensive movie selection, play AIR HOCKEY and FOOSBALL, sit on porch and rock your cares away, take a 20 minutes hike to Smoky Mountains, roast marshmallows at the FIREPIT or just plain relax. The chipmunks, hummingbirds, and Carolina wrens also like to visit the Ponderosa.
Once at the Ponderosa, you are away from civilization with total peacefulness. The temperature at the Ponderosa averages a minimum 10 degrees cooler than the valley. Open the windows for fresh air, but if neeeded gas heat or AC available.
