3 Bedroom Villa in Asheville

Chalet Quietude is located on a beautiful mountain at an altitude of 3400 ft. on 3 secluded acres. The 50+ mile view is spectacular. During the early morning hours, you may catch some beautiful sights and will get a real sense of what the Smoky Mountains are all about. The chalet is at the end of the road, on a mountain ridge and the adjoining 400 acres is undeveloped which contributes to the privacy and quietude.

Chalet Quietude is a cozy three bedroom cabin with 1.5 baths. The open loft (still has privacy) is the location of the king bed and the half bath. The queen bedroom is located on the main floor as is the bedroom with the twin trundle beds. The full bath is also located on the main floor. The chalet sleeps 6 comfortably. The king and queen beds are luxurious european pillow-top mattresses and the bed sheets are not like anything you have every slept on. So much so, that many guests have asked to purchase them - they are for sale (see "amenities for sale" page). We also provide great robes for you to wear while you are here which are also for sale.

The living room has a fireplace, very tastefully decorated and is open to the kitchen with just about every cooking amenity you need to complete a beautiful gourmet meal or something simple and yummy. The handy dining counter is also great to gather and have conversation while cooking.


Of course, we must mention the wonderful hot tub. It is positioned on its own deck and the ritual of getting ready for the hot tub is part of the experience. It is located away from the house so that you can sit in and enjoy nature. At night, gazing at the stars or the valley in the distant view with the night lights is just about as good as it gets. You will know then, that "life is great".

Chalet Quietude is located 12 miles from downtown Asheville and a little more than 11 miles from the Biltmore. Grocery stores are near by and getting to and from the chalet is very easy.

You are sure to love Chalet Quietude. The name came to me as I stood on the deck and realized just how quiet it was there. You, too, will notice that. One guest told me she had to ask her husband if she was still alive...she said she could not hear anything and thought she had died (city girl of course). I feel the same way when I am there.

Fine bed linens and robes along with bath linens are provided. The hot tub is positioned on it's own deck with a fabulous view.
