The main living/dining area of theBrigman House has been remodeled from the original log structure, set on thisspot in 1840. The rest of this lovely home was vastly added onto as a"major renovation" back in 1890 when the "little log cabin"became a Country Inn. Over one hundred years later, the Brigman-Chambershouse received yet another full face-lift. Totally & lovingly restored in 2004, the Historic Brigman House has all thecharm of yesteryear with all the modern conveniences of today.
There are 5 delightful bedrooms & 4.5 baths. Eachbedroom will accommodate two to four guests, for a maximum capacity of 15guests. All of the bedrooms have in-room fireplaces with gas logs, manywith private & full baths, and some with spa tubs. Special touches,including wide plank floors & tiling, original rock fireplaces withdelightful mantles, whimsical wall-papers, comfortable antique furnishings, wonderfulquilts, sheets & towels - all surround you in a casual yet pampered feel.
Two spacious family rooms allow you to spread out incomfort. Several porches - upstairs & down - are available to situpon, relax, read, enjoy the views, or just find a quiet moment. A modernkitchen, with top notch appliances & all amenities, opens out into theoriginal log cabin living/dining room area. A gas grill is just out theback door (although most guests use this as the front door) & a cozy lawnwill lure you out for an afternoon beverage and cookout.
