The Dream Chalet is nestled at the edge of a 33 acre woodlands forest conveniently located at the south edge of Asheville close to restaurants and shopping.  
 
If you love to be pampered and are discerning about what you want in a luxury getaway, the Dream Chalet is an excellent choice. We lovingly furnished and decorated it with an eye toward beauty and comfort with extra special touches to pamper you. (We love spoiling our guests!) It will feel like a warm, inviting home to you rather than a vacation rental house.  
 
The stunning living room has 20 foot cathedral ceilings, gas log stone fireplace, beautiful tapestry, luxurious comfortable couches, elegant furnishings and flat screen TV with built-in DVD/VCR for easy use. There’s even an extensive video library for your entertainment. Just beyond is the kitchen and laundry area. 
 
The classy gourmet kitchen has tile counters, an island prep area with eating bar and bar stools for lookers-on, wood flooring and new appliances including a gas range/oven. (Don’t you just love cooking with gas!) This cook’s kitchen is set up with everything you need for preparing meals at home. The knives are sharp, there’s a multitude of quality cookware, coffeemaker and even a coffee grinder for your freshly brewed coffee. There’s an assortment of basic spices and plenty of storage space for your groceries. Serve your meals in the sunroom on cheerful hand-painted plates and quality silverware.  
 
Just beyond the kitchen an all-glass sunroom/dining room that looks out on the lovely woodlands and back deck with a large & powerful outdoor hot tub. Relax in the sofa (queen sleeper), watch TV and enjoy experiencing an awesome massage in your high-tech “hands on technology” Massage Chair!  
 
Upstairs from the living room, you’ll find a tastefully decorated romantic master bedroom suite with an ultra comfortable king size bed. Luxuriate in the smooth 400 count cotton sheets, the butter soft blanket and even the velvety “micro-plush” fiber mattress pad. Located on the third level, your window is a bird’s eye view of the delightful lawn and forest below. There’s a TV/VCR/DVD for bedtime watching. You have ample closet space with two walk-in closets. A tasteful bathroom featuring a skylight above your shower/Jacuzzi tub and sumptuously thick cotton towels complete the master suite. Oh, don’t you love to be spoiled! 
 
Downstairs from the living room are a full bathroom and two bedrooms each with a quality queen bed and TV/DVD/VCR. One of the bedrooms has a fun mural and children’s toys & stuffed animals. The bathroom is delightfully decorated, has a full tub and shower, and of course, wonderfully soft towels.  
 
For additional sleeping, the sunroom has a new queen sleeper sofa that's comfortable and even has a back rest adjustment to recline. What a great setting to sleep in! Watch the stars from the windows and skylights that surround you. Draw the curtains for privacy. There’s also a twin air bed should you need it.  
 
Our delightful cedar chalet is tucked away that the end of a neighborhood cul-de-sac that borders 33 acres of lush woodlands right outside your back door. Even though you’re conveniently located to the Asheville airport and the Interstate, you can watch wild turkeys, ground hogs, squirrels, rabbits and deer wander through your peaceful yard. Follow the woodlands path through the trees to find the tree bench swing overlooking the creek.

What we love about these Smokey Mountains is its wealth of activities. We experience a gentle 4 seasons here that makes any time of year perfect to visit. If you love to shop for the unusual, there are fantastic antique stores, numerous galleries, unique boutique shops, & amazing handcrafts. This region is host to numerous festivals filled with music, dance, arts and crafts. There are family events, live theater, concerts, cinemas and museums. For golfers, there are numerous Asheville courses including Jack Nicholas’ newly designed world class championship golf course, The Cliffs. There’s skiing, hiking, white water rafting, miniature golf, fishing, wildlife viewing, rock climbing, you name it!

Nightly Rates are determined by the number of guests. 1 - 4 guests = $195 per night Each additional guest is $20 per night Children and Infants are counted as guests. Low Season Weekly Rate for 1 - 8 guests: $899 Jan., Feb, March, April, Sept., Nov., Dec (except holidays) High Season Weekly Rate for 1 - 8 guests: $1092 May, June, July, August, October. Add 11.75% taxes. Add one time $75 - $150 cleaning fee depending on # of guests. This home has a $300 cancellation policy per week. Note: This is a non-smoking home.
