This Asheville vacation rental cabin is for the discerning guests who appreciate quality & love to feel pampered! The Joy Chalet is only 2 miles to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores & the Interstate. 
 
The Joy Chalet is one bedroom, one & half bath, 2- story, 800 SF chalet bordering 33 wooded acres. 
 
Be outrageously spoiled by the luxury of this romantic woodlands vacation cabin rental. We lovingly furnished & decorated it with an eye toward beauty & comfort with extra special touches to pamper you: quality furniture, luxury king bed, sumptuous bedding, fully equipped kitchen with quality cookware, hot tub, high speed Internet connection, HDTV with video library, gas log fireplace & there's even an outrageous massage chair! Situated in a peaceful setting, follow the woodlands path in the back yard through the woods to find the bench swing suspended from a tree overlooking the creek.  
 
A cheerful gas stone fireplace in a soaring 20 foot wall with a lovely oil painting above greets you as you enter your front door. The luxurious, very comfortable couches and rich marble tables are quietly elegant and a perfect nest to watch your flat screen 37" HDTV with simple-to-use built-in DVD. Choose from over 100 movies in our video library or watch cable TV. Better yet, it’s the ideal spot to just peacefully sit and unwind in front of the fire.  
 
For the fun of it, we’ve provided a vintage 1948 Scrabble board with 100 wooden tiles, a 1961 Monopoly game, a 1974 Easy Money game plus games such as chess, checkers, playing cards, Yahtzee, etc. In addition, we have selection of enjoyable paperback novels.  
 
Your romantic upstairs loft bedroom suite features a magnificent tapestry over a sumptuous Simmons King bed, 400 thread count sheets, butter-soft blankets and choice of pillows including contour memory foam. Lay in luxury while you watch your flat screen TV with a simple-to-use built-in DVD/VCR. A handsome dresser, chest of drawers and walk-in closet offer plenty of space for your clothes. And, best of all, an amazing Human Touch Technology Massage Chair will send you to heaven! It’s our favorite ultimate pleasure. A tasteful bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub/shower and sumptuously thick cotton towels complete the master suite. Oh, don’t you love to be spoiled! 
 
If you prepare meals at home, your eat-in kitchen is fully equipped! You have full size new appliances including refrigerator with ice/water in the door, ceramic glass cooktop with self-cleaning oven, dishwasher, microwave, and disposal. Enhance your meals by serving them on our festive hand painted dinnerware, heavy glasses and quality silverware. You’ll find sharp knives, a multitude of pots, pans, bake dishes, cookie sheets, cake pans, pizza pan, muffin pans, hand mixer, toaster, blender, waffle iron, coffeemaker & even a coffee grinder for your freshly brewed coffee. You’ll find a selection of spices and a few other goodies as well. Tucked away in a corner of the kitchen, you’ll find a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. 
 
Step out your back door onto a wonderful screened, covered porch with roll down shades for added privacy. Relax in an intimate two-person lounger hot tub and view the woods and wildlife in your back yard. Drink a morning cup of coffee in the deck chairs or venture out into the yard to enjoy the picnic area and have a BBQ. Ah, the romance of it all!  
 
The home has central air conditioning & heat. Just past the living room is the eat-in kitchen & pretty powder room with faux painted walls. 
 
We’ve had a great time creating a nurturing restful atmosphere here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We’ve newly furnished, painted and supplied our house with everything to make your visit a dream vacation. This is our favorite place in the world and we’re thrilled to share share our enchanted little chalet with you.

What we love about these Smokey Mountains is its wealth of activities. We experience a gentle 4 seasons here that makes any time of year perfect to visit. If you love to shop for the unusual, there are fantastic antique stores, numerous galleries, unique boutique shops, & amazing handcrafts. This region is host to numerous festivals filled with music, dance, arts and crafts. There are family events, live theater, concerts, cinemas and museums. For golfers, there are numerous Asheville courses including Jack Nicholas’ newly designed world class championship golf course, The Cliffs. There’s skiing, hiking, white water rafting, miniature golf, fishing, wildlife viewing, rock climbing, you name it!  
 
Asheville is famous for the Biltmore House, the largest private residence in the United States built by George Vanderbilt. You can spend a full day wandering through the mansion, its grounds, greenhouses, winery, restaurants and shops.
