Vacation Rental Description
This immaculate, deluxe cabin near Asheville and Hot Springs, NC is spacious and beautifully decorated. It has one large bedroom with queen-size bed and cathedral ceiling, large open-floor-plan, living room/dining room/kitchen area with cathedral ceilings, gable windows, hardwood floors with cozy braided rugs, and a wood-burning stove in a fireplace setting (firewood furnished). We are open year round so guests can enjoy all four seasons at our wonderful retreat. From the first burst of Spring flowers, to the radiant shades of green, warm days, and cool evenings of Summer, to an artist's pallet of brilliant oranges, reds, and yellows of the Fall leaves, to the moon shining over the mountains with its reflection on freshly fallen snow of Winter...we have it all! Come join us as our guests and enjoy total peace and tranquility as the mountains display their wonders everywhere. Wake up in the morning to the sights and sounds of nature's beautiful inhabitants, both large and small. They appear for a moment to give us a glimpse of their world around us and then disappear, leaving us in awe and amazement of their brief presence. Our entire property is elevated on top of a 5-acre mountain knoll, surrounded by the rich mountain woodlands of the Pisgah National Forest in the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina. Our cabin offers complete privacy with a 360-degree view of higher more majestic mountains. Our "little piece of heaven" provides everything you need for a "true mountain escape", including looking down on a scenic mountain highway below with a rushing mountain stream running along side of it and through a quaint, Appalachian farm valley...all the charm of "days gone by". Why not break away for a while from the chaotic world and pressures of daily life to refresh and recharge your body, mind, and spirit? Let us show you a slower pace of life...we offer something for everyone.
Facilities
We have Satellite TV with 7 channels of HBO Movies. There is a wood-burning stove in a fireplace setting in the living room area. We furnish wood and firestarter. We have alternative gas heat for the Winter months and air conditioning during the Summer months. The cabin's one bathroom features shower only and is centrally located with access doors to all areas. We furnish all paper and linen products for both bathroom and kitchen For guests who smoke, there are designated smoking areas on front and back porches, as well as the back sun deck. The cabin has a fully furnished kitchen for inside cooking, a picnic area located beside the cabin with table and covered gas grill for outside cooking, and two full service restaurants nearby or those who prefer to eat out. Our guests enjoy access to the mountain stream below for fishing and water fun, and there are nature hiking trails all around.
Activities
There is a wide assortment of outdoor activities, such as soaking in outdoor hot mineral spas, hiking the Appalachian Trail, Blue Ridge Parkwy, visit Mt. Mitchel (the highest mountain peak east of the Mississippi River), mountain biking/climbing, horseback riding which includes exploring an old abandon Garnet Mine, white water rafting/canoeing/kayaking the French Broad River, or skiing/snowboarding at one of our two nearby Ski Resorts. Experience a Hot Air Balloon Ride, ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, tour the Biltmore Estate & Winery (this beautiful 250-room French Chateau is one of the first castles built in the USA), try you luck at the Casino on the Cherokee Indian Reservation or view their museum and outdoor play. Witness the "Return of the Elks" to NC. Explore Chimney Rock Park and the "Land of the 25 Waterfalls". More places of interest: "Grandfather Mountain", Gatlinbury, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood Amusement Park.

At the time reservation is made, a deposit equal to 1/2 of the total rate is required. This deposit is fully refundable (minus a $25.00 processing fee) if we are notified of your cancellation 30 days in advance of your check-in date, or 50% refundable with a 14 day advance cancellation notice. Otherwise, deposits are non-refundable. Balance due upon arrival. Sorry, we do not refund due to inclement weather. Full payment in advance, with no cancellation refund, is required for "Special Package Vacations", all major Holidays and the entire months of July and October We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Cash, and Money Orders. There would be a $50.00 Cleaning Fee and $150.00 Damage Deposit fully refundable within 14 days should no damage occur during your stay.

Our luxury cabin is located in a mountain vacation paradise surrounded by wonderful outdoor places such as the Blue Ridge Parkway North Carolina, the Appalachian Trail Madison County NC, the Pisgah National Forest NC, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in NC and TN. Visitors love enjoying Whitewater Rafting on the French Broad River, Trout Fly Fishing in nearby streams, and Snow Skiing at either of our two local ski areas, Wolf Ridge and Cataloochee Ski Resorts. On this page we have included information on other great outdoor activities such as: Hot Air Balloon Rides, Llama Treks, Horseback Trail Rides (that includes exploration of an old abandon Garnet Mine), and Golfing on manicured courses in and around the Asheville, NC area (soon to include the new Tiger Wood’s Golf Course).
If you’re interested in visiting other exciting, fun places like The Biltmore Estate (with a great Winery Tour), Chimney Rock Park (featuring scenery from many popular movies and the highest waterfall in the region), gaming in a Casino at the Cherokee Indian Reservation (complete with museum and outdoor theater), the newly renovated Ghost in the Sky Amusement Park, or treating your body, mind, and spirit with a Soak and Massage at the local, all-natural, Hot Mineral Water Springs…then give us a try. Our beautifully decorated, completely furnished, Western North Carolina Cabins are surrounded by nature and equipped with everything you need for a great mountain experience. There are two full service restarunts nearby for those who enjoy eating out. With so much to do, you may decide to come for a weekend and end up staying a week. Either way, we would love to have you visit us and soon become one of our many repeat guests.
