Vacation Rental Description
This beautiful three story 4500+ sq. ft. home, with attached two-car carport, sits on a generous 101’ waterfront lot with an aluminum pier and boat slip. It is constructed of stone and board & batten siding and recently was newly painted and re-shingled. The back of the home features a beautiful 335 square foot screened porch and deck filled with new deep seated heavy aluminum furniture to seat up to 12 comfortably, gas grill.
Natural areas dominate the grounds and pebbled paths lead to the lake. In addition, after a long day on the lake, an enclosed outside shower awaits with both hot and cold water to rinse off the kids as needed! Back patio at ground level is ideal for enjoying view from porch swing and hammocks.
The main living area boasts a cathedral ceiling with large exposed wooden beams running from the front to the back of the home. Ceiling fans and lights dominate the ceiling and the back wall, almost entirely constructed of windows.
The kitchen is bright and airy as well, with a new built in oven, new microwave, and a gas cook top. The cook top centers itself in the middle of the kitchen with its own island, with sit down area, and cast iron pot rack.
Opposite the kitchen, the dining area is home to a large solid oak table and seating for ten in addition to four more matching seats at extra sit down bar areas. The large matching buffet encloses the room off from the rest of the main room directly beside it. From the dining area, the deck is accessible through the sliding glass doors to either cook on the grill and or descend to the bottom level.
The family room is overlooked by a two story cultured stone oversized fireplace. A large couch is flanked by two oversized chairs and a half and their attending ottomans. Two towering solid cherry bookshelves with several books to choose from.
The rest of the first floor is devoted to the master suite. It is extremely large with windows overlooking the back yard and the beauty of the lake. It has a king size bed with a very plush mattress along with a single iron day bed, a television, DVD and CD player, two custom made cushioned arm chairs and bed side table.
The rest of the area adjacent to the master suite consists of a large garden tub, overlooked by large glass block window, sink and cabinetry within its own room and capable of being shut off from the rest of the area. The oversized hallway has the toilet closet to one side, walk in his and her closets on the left followed by a shower, sink and cabinetry in another room.
On the third floor, one easily notices the loft areas, one to the left and home to a small space with a full size bed...Grandma's iron bed. The other to the right, and a bit larger, houses two solid oak queen size sleigh beds, built in shelves and blanket chest with two sky lights as well.
Descending downstairs to the basement, you are welcomed with another large living space with its own large cultured stone fireplace. The back wall to this room is also open with doors and windows leading out to the back porch. Its furnishings include another large couch, two chairs and their ottomans and a decorative piece of furniture. A Samsung large 46" LCD flat panel television hangs from one side of the fireplace to keep kids occupied with video games, DVD player, VCR player and movies etc.
On one side, there is a large bedroom with a solid oak queen bed, tall dresser, night stand and a set of comfy bunk beds for the kids. It has its own bathtub/shower and vanity. There is also a game room with ping pong table and air hockey table!
This home was professionally designed and decorated and introduces easy comfortable living!

Beyond all that Badin Lake has to offer, such as boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, wildlife viewing and much, much more there are plenty of other nearby activities to keep one busy. Activities that include the Ashboro Zoo, Bob Timberlake Gallery, Richard Childress Winery and Vineyards, Richard Childress Racing Museum in Welcome, North Carolina’s Transportation Museum in Spencer, The Richard Petty Museum in Randleman, NC. Other options are hiking and rock climbing at Morrow Mountain, just east of Albemarle and shopping in the Furniture Capital of the world, High Point, North Carolina. Charlotte Motor Speedway is only about an hours drive away. Concord Mills has some of the best shopping in North Carolina and it's close by as well.
