Vacation Rental Description
“Jessica’s Dune” was built in 1986. We maintain it as our second home NOT as a rental property. We believe that the difference in quality and appearance is immediately apparent. The house is in perfect condition and immaculately clean. 
The home has three bedrooms, all on the top floor. The master bedroom is very large, has a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, a view of Currituck Sound and a private bath with two sinks and a separate area for the toilet and shower/tub. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a large closet. The third bedroom has two single beds and a bunk set with another walk-in closet. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom in the hallway. There is also a half-bathroom downstairs. The entire upstairs is pecan paneled and carpeted. 
The downstairs floor plan is as follows: There is a fully equipped, galley kitchen with a breakfast bar and adjoining pantry. There is a large dining area with sliders leading to the screened porch. There is a picnic table for outdoor dining and some chairs. 
The main living area has a large, leather couch and a matching overstuffed chair grouped around a cozy fireplace. The entire downstairs level has fragrant juniper wainscoting and hardwood floors covered by Oriental rugs. Three 6- foot sliders on the West and North side of the living room provide an unparalleled view of the Sound and the sunsets and provide access to the wraparound deck. The 6-person hot-tub is sunken into the deck on the West side. The house is quite high up on a dune so this is also VERY private. There is also an outside shower. 
We recently added a recreation room at ground level. This room is fully air-conditioned and heated. It can also be used as an independent and separate living area for accompanying guests or as a fourth bedroom. There is a full bath with shower and a wet bar. There is a full-size pool table and a Wii gaming system for your enjoyment as well. 
The house is completely equipped: Central air-conditioning and heat, washer and dryer, microwave oven, icemaker, dishwasher, electric cooktop and convection oven, small appliances, pots, pans, dinnerware, flatware, wine glasses, fireplace, 2 color TV’s with cablevision, DVD player, VCR, and a CD/cassette-stereo system. There is an in-ground charcoal grill outside near the kitchen for convenience. 
The only items that we don't provide are towels or paper products. These items invariably get “lost”, unfortunately. However, the linens and towels can be provided, if you like, for a nominal additional charge. We do provide blankets, bedspreads, mattress covers, and pillows.

    Rates are all-inclusive except 12.25% tax. Towels can be provided at a nominal charge. Damage waiver is included and covers first $500 of damage beyond normal wear and tear. 50% of total amount due within 7 days of making reservation. Balance due 45 days prior to arrival. OPTIONAL Trip cancellation insurance available for 6.5% of rental amount. Insurance can be used for unforeseen illnesses, mandatory hurricane evacuations, and various other covered events according to the policy. If insurance is not elected, we will try to sub-lease the property and if successful, will return deposit minus an administrative fee. Payment by credit card or check.
