Room is large, (16' x 16'), with private viewing deck, full bath, cable TV, free Internet access, in-room refrigerator, coffee maker and shared hot tub.  
 
Your room also include access to oceanfront pool and gazebo, indoor pool, hot tub, world class gym, game room, tennis courts, racquetball courts and wireless service.  
 
Access to washer, dryer and microwave oven is provided. Bunk beds are available for couples with children. 
 
Many rental properties listing their location in Duck are actually miles away from the village.  
 
Your room is situated on a high dune in the Schooner Ridge community only a five minute stroll to the ocean or Duck's shops, restaurants and waterside park.  
 
Schools of porpoise can frequently be seen from the oceanfront gazebo, which is also a great place for nighttime stargazing.  
 
Foxes, raccoon and occasionally deer can be seen from your deck. (We'll provide you with a little dry dog food to feed the foxes.)  
 
Wild horses also roam the beaches north of Corolla where the shelling and wonderful seclusion are unparalleled.  
 
Duck has so much to offer that you don't really need a car once you get here. But you might want to do some exploring.  
 
The Wright Brothers Memorial, charter fishing at Oregon Inlet, hang gliding at Jockey's Ridge and Roanoke's famed Lost Colony, the Elizabethan Gardens and a real Bavarian brewery are just a short drive away. A little farther afield is the Alligator River Game Preserve, home to black bear, white heron and the endangered red wolf.  
 
We even know a place where you can lunch on deep-fried alligator tail. (We tell our visiting friends not to worry about the sharks because the alligators keep 'em away...just kidding, Duck has no alligators.)  
 
The list of things to do is as endless as the memories you'll take home with you.

We offer either the Blue Room or the Burgundy Room for your enjoyment. Both rooms are large, with coffee maker, small fridge, satellite TV and private bath and deck with hot tub. Access to washer/dryer, microwave oven, oceanfront pool and gazebo, indoor pool, class gym, tennis & racquetball, game room and internet access. We provide linens and everything you'll need for the beach, towels, chairs, umbrella and a complimentary bottle of wine. Duck is a wonderful place to visit with shops, cafes, and a sound front park, all within walking distance of your room. There is an osprey nest offshore and we frequently see porpoises schooling along the coast. You're just a 15 minute drive to the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk, a half hour from Festival Park and Roanoke Island, home of the first English settlement in America. On the mainland is the Alligator River Game Preserve, home to red wolves, black bears...and 'gators, of course.

Our rooms are available throughout the year, with 3 PM check in and noon check out. Rooms are large, (16' x 16'), and sleep up to six with either a queen or double bed and comfortable bunk beds. Rooms are equipped with coffee maker, fridge, satellite TV private bath and hot tub. Access to washer/dryer and microwave oven. Price includes access to oceanfront pool and gazebo, indoor pool, world class gym, tennis & racquetball courts, game room and internet access. Linens and bath towels provided, also beach towels, beach mats, beach chairs and a beach umbrella. Complimentary bottle of wine included. Low season rate for two people is $80 per night plus $10 per night per bunk bed. High season rate for two people is $150 per night plus $10 per night per bunk bed. 20% deposit check required to reserve dates. Make check payable to Mike Sackett, PO Box 8247, Duck, NC 27949.
