Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be in writing by fax, letter or
acknowledged email. Cancellations must be made 30 days prior to check in. If cancellation is not made within the 30 days prior to check-in, there will be a cancellation fee charged of two night's rent for short
term rental and 7 nights rent for long term rentals

I have had the pleasure of being at the "Southern Cape May" while I was on a special assignment at Cherry Point. From the first day I arrived, this cottage was immaculate and one of the most wonderful places I have had the pleasure of staying in all of my travels thruout the world. The owner has made this a great experience and I have always felt appreciated for being here. If anyone can come to this cottage, you should make it a priority. You will not regret it! My wife and I spent Thanksgiving here and invited some of the Marines who could not get home for the holidays. Here comes Miss Trish with 2 home cooked pies so that everyone would not leave hungry. Now that is above and beyond the call of duty, I would say. She is just like that. The place is always clean and I WILL COME BACK again!

My family had the absolute pleasure of getting to stay at the "Southern Cape May". You could not ask for a more perfect setting to get to see both the ocean and the intracoastal while you are sitting in an rocker on one of the 3 porches at the cottage. The owner has decorated this house with the greatest antiques. It looks like Coastal Living and Southern Living all wrapped up in one. They have an Allen Hershel antique carousel horse hanging from the ceiling, a 18' antique visible Shell gas pump (used as a night light), a 1930's Vendo Coke Machine, and a 1932 Dodge'm Bumper Car.... red no less, just to mention a few in their great room level. The owners of the "Southern Cape May" had prepared this cottage so perfect that all we had to do is come in and sit our suitcases down and just relax and enjoy. Everything was perfect and immaculate! We have stayed at other cottages in Sea Dreams and have paid in excess of $4000 a week in the past, but the May's are very aware that the average family cannot afford those prices. They have priced their home so that the average family can have a wonderful place without overcharging you. I wish more people were like them. We certainly will return here. This cottage runs rings around the others that we have stayed at in Sea Dreams and the "Thank You" gift from them when we arrived showed us that they trully appreciate our business which is so unusual in today's world. Thank you again for the most wonderful vacation experience ever! You truly are a treasure to be found!
